Can it be said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was endowed with the beauty of the universe?

In a nutshell: Firstly, loving the Prophet (PBUH) and attributing beautiful physical and moral qualities to him is part of faith. However, it is forbidden to praise him excessively.

It is in this sense that al-Bokhari (3445) reported from Umar (pbuh) that he heard the Prophet (pbuh) say:

"Do not praise me excessively as the Christians did with the son of Mary. I am only the slave of Allah. Say: He is the slave of Allah and His Messenger."

Topic

Imam Ahmad (12551) reported from Anas ibn Malick that a man said:

- "O Muhammad, our lord son of our lord, the best of us son of the best of us.."

-O people, fear Allah and do not be carried away by Satan! I am Muhammad son of Abdullah, the slave of Allah and His Messenger. I do not like that you elevate me to a higher rank than that which Allah has assigned to me."

Al-Albani has deemed it authentic in as-Sahiha (1097). Many hadiths abound in this sense.

Secondly, the Prophet (peace be upon him) was physically the most beautiful of humans, the one with the most radiant appearance. Al-Bokhari (3549) and Muslim (2337) reported from al-Baraa:

"The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) had the most beautiful face and the best physique."

At-Tirmidhi (2811) reported this hadith which he thought was good according to Jabir ibn Samurah:

"I saw the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) on a lighted night and began to look at him sometimes and at the moon sometimes. To me, he was more beautiful than the moon."

Al-Bokhari (3556) and Muslim (2769) reported that Kaab ibn Malick (P.A.a) said:

"When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was happy, his face would become radiant as if he were a piece of the moon and we would recognize him."

The Prophet (peace be upon him) was endowed with fine qualities and noble morals in addition to the perfection of his fear of Allah and devotion to Him, qualities in which no one surpassed him, or even came close to him.

Al-Bokhari (6203) and Muslim (659) reported that Anas said:

"The Messenger of Allah (Blessings be upon him) was morally the most beautiful of humans."

Al-Bokhari (2820) and Muslim (2307) reported that Anas (P.A.a) said:

"The Prophet (peace be upon him) was the most beautiful, courageous and generous man."

Al-Hafez (May Allah have mercy on him) said: "He combined intellectual, angry and carnal qualities. Courage expresses the angry quality. Generosity expresses the carnal quality. The beauty results from the balance of the temperament which leads to the purity of the soul inseparable from the excellent discernment which reflects the reason. Thus he was qualified as the best in all these.

Thirdly, despite what has just been confirmed, the absolute statement that the Prophet (PBUH) was endowed with the beauty of the universe is not usual in religious texts or in the words of the ulama. Moreover, it is debatable. Indeed, the beauty known in the universe is relative because there is human beauty, animal beauty, beauty in birds, beauty in plants, the special beauty of the stars, etc.

In conclusion
The Prophet (peace be upon him) possessed the human beauty worthy of his rank. He was also the most perfect physically and morally. Anything more than this is a superfluous, satanically inspired audacity which, moreover, does not provide any useful knowledge and cannot be the basis for any good work.
