Did we choose to enter this world or were we compelled?

The issue is disputed. For those arguing we were a soul in the barzakh prior to entering the world, we accepted a trust, and agreed to be tested thereby choosing to enter the world. Others argue we did not choose to enter it. It is an obligation for everyone to be born before facing the Qiamah. This is because Allah (SWT) has to test the person to see if he is worthy for Heaven or Hell.
