Would be a bit daft if they didn't. I mean you don't consciously think to beat you heart and breathe, but it happens. However, look after yourself poorly and you'll find your heart and breathing will suffer like everything else. Things don't just happen for a reason, most often they happen because you didn't think to, or use reason.
