In Islam, it is believed that Allah created Adam, the first human being, and that Adam was created in the image of Allah. This belief is based on the Qur'an, which states:

"Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, 'Be,' and he was" (Qur'an 3:59)

This verse is often interpreted to mean that Adam, like Jesus, was created in the image of Allah. However, it is important to note that the concept of Allah's image in Islam is not meant to be taken literally. In Islam, Allah is believed to be beyond human understanding and cannot be fully comprehended or described. As such, the idea of Allah creating Adam in His image should not be understood as implying that Allah has a physical form or appearance.

Instead, the belief that Adam was created in the image of Allah is often understood to mean that Adam was created with a special status and purpose, and that he was given certain attributes and characteristics that set him apart from other beings. These attributes and characteristics may include things like reason, free will, and the ability to communicate and make choices.

There are multiple verses stating there is nothing like him as he is unique so creation can't be compared to him literally. That doesn't change the fact the Prophet (saw) told us Allah created Adam (as) in his image.

Here's some references.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “If one of you fights his brother, let him avoid the face. Verily, Allah created Adam in His image.” (Sahih al-Muslim 2612)

The Prophet (saw) said: “Allah created Adam in His image, and he was sixty cubits tall. When he created him he said, ‘Go and greet that group of angels who are sitting and listen to how they greet you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your descendants.’ So he said, ‘Al-salaamu ‘alaykum (peace be upon you),’ and they said, ‘Al-salaamu ‘alayka wa rahmat-Allaah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allaah.’ So they added (the words) ‘wa rahmat-Allaah.’ Everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam, but mankind continued to grow shorter until now.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 6227; Muslim 2841)

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: “Do not say ‘May Allah deform your face’ [a form of cursing in Arabic], for the son of Adam was created in the image of the Most Merciful.” (Sunnah 517)

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: “When any one of you fights let him avoid the face, for Allah created Adam in the image of His Face.” (Sunnah 516)
