In a Nutshell:

Each prayer (salat) typically lasts 5-10 minutes, depending on the prescribed length of the prayer and the number and length of Qur'anic verses recited.

In practice congregational prayers usually take a little longer than individual prayers to perform - however some individuals become so engrossed, their prayers can last a lot longer.

Other factors may also influence the length of time a Muslim prays, including the number of additional (non-obligatory) prayers one chooses to perform and the pace at which one recites the Qur'an.

Ishaa (night) prayers are sometimes made up of 17 rakats, comprising obligatory, recommended and superogatory elements. The taraweeh prayers add another 20 rakats to these during the nights of ramadan for many Muslims, resulting in around 37 rakats - which typically take around an hour to complete.
