What do I do about my Shaikh who makes mistakes?

If you truly, and I really do mean truly, love a shaikh who is making mistakes, then you won't be doing him any favors by defending his actions and validating his stances. You'll only increase his burden on the Day of Judgment if you contribute in any shape or form to the spread and acceptance of his errors amongst the people. Not to mention that you'll also be asked for why you did that. Believe it or not, if you do truly love him as you say, you'd want to minimize the impact of his mistakes so that he has less to answer for. If you can't garner the willpower and courage to publicly correct or warn from those mistakes, then at the very least stay silent.
