The word rabb appears 124 times in the Qur'an: فَلِلّٰہِ الۡحَمۡدُ رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَرَبِّ الۡاَرۡضِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الجَاثیَة45:37 All praise, then, belongs to Allah, Lord of the heavens, and Lord of the earth, the Lord of all the worlds. قَالَ رَبِّ انۡصُرۡنِیۡ عَلَی الۡقَوۡمِ الۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ سورة العَنکبوت 29:31 He said, Help me, my Lord, against the wicked people. سُبۡحٰنَ رَبِّکَ رَبِّ الۡعِزَّۃِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الصَّافات37:181 Holy is your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power, far above that which they assert. قَالَ رَبِّ انۡصُرۡنِیۡ بِمَا کَذَّبُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون 23:27 He said, O my Lord, help me, for they have treated me as a liar. رَبِّ مُوۡسٰی وَہٰرُوۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:49 The Lord of Moses, and of Aaron. وَالۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الصَّافات 37:183 And all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. سُبۡحٰنَ رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ رَبِّ الۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الزّخرُف 43:83 Holy is Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, and He is free from all that which they attribute to Him. قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنۡظِرۡنِیۡۤ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ سورة الحِجر 15:37 He said, My Lord, then grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised. حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءَ اَحَدَہُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارۡجِعُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون 23:100 Until, when death comes to one of them, he says entreating, My Lord, send me back, قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَا رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:24 Pharaoh said, And what is the Lord of the worlds? اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الفَاتِحَة 1:2 All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, وَاَنَّہٗ ہُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعۡرٰی سورة النّجْم 53:50 And that He is the Lord of Sirius; تَنۡزِیۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الحَاقَّة69:44 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقَیۡنِ وَرَبُّ الۡمَغۡرِبَیۡنِ سورة الرَّحمٰن55:18 The Lord of the two Easts and the Lord of the two Wests! رَبِّ نَجِّنِیۡ وَاَہۡلِیۡ مِمَّا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:170 My Lord, save me and my family from what they do. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ قَوۡمِیۡ کَذَّبُوۡنِ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:118 He said, My Lord, my people have treated me as a liar. فَلۡیَعۡبُدُوۡا رَبَّ ہٰذَا الۡبَیۡتِ سورة القُرَیش 106:4 They should serve the Lord of this House, رَبِّ فَلَا تَجۡعَلۡنِیۡ فِی الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمنون 23:95 My Lord, then place me not with the wrongdoing people. قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنۡظِرۡنِیۡۤ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ سورة صٓ 38:80 He said, My Lord, then grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised. قُل رَّبِّ اِمَّا تُرِیَنِّیۡ مَا یُوۡعَدُوۡنَ سورة المؤمنون 23:94 Say, My Lord, if you wilt show me that with which they are threatened. رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ حُکۡمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِیۡ بِالصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:84 My Lord, bestow wisdom on me and join me with the righteous; قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اَنۡ یُّکَذِّبُوۡنِ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:13 He said, My Lord, I fear that they will treat me as a liar; رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا الۡعَزِیۡزُ الۡغَفّٰرُ سورة صٓ38:67 The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between the two, the Mighty, the Great Forgiver. فَاِنَّہُمۡ عَدُوٌّ لِّیۡۤ اِلَّا رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:78 They are all enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds; یَرِثُنِیۡ وَیَرِثُ مِنۡ اٰلِ یَعۡقُوۡبَ ۖ وَاجۡعَلۡہُ رَبِّ رَضِیًّا سورة مَریَم 19:7 That he may be heir to me and to the House of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, well-pleasing to you. رَبِّ مُوۡسٰی وَہٰرُوۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف7:123 The Lord of Moses and Aaron. قَالَ رَبِّ اشۡرَحۡ لِیۡ صَدۡرِیۡ سورة طٰه 20:26 Moses said, My Lord, open out for me my breast, قَالَ رَبِّ انۡصُرۡنِیۡ بِمَا کَذَّبُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون 23:40 He said, My Lord, help me, for they have treated me as a liar. سَلٰمٌ قَوۡلًا مِّنۡ رَّبٍّ رَّحِیۡمٍ سورة یسٓ 36:59 Peace on you a word of greeting from the Merciful Lord. قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرۡتَنِیۡۤ اَعۡمٰی وَقَدۡ کُنۡتُ بَصِیۡرًا سورة طٰه20:126 He will say, My Lord, why hast you raised me up blind, while I possessed sight before? وَقُل رَّبِّ اَنۡزِلۡنِیۡ مُنۡزَلًا مُّبَارَکًا وَّاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡمُنۡزِلِیۡنَ سورة المؤمنون 23:30 And say, My Lord, cause me to land a blessed landing, for you art the Best of those who bring men to land. تَنۡزِیۡلُ الۡکِتٰبِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ مِنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة السَّجدَة 32:3 The revelation of the Book there is no doubt about it is from the Lord of the worlds. وَقُل رَّبِّ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ مِنۡ ہَمَزٰتِ الشَّیٰطِیۡنِ سورة المؤمنون23:98 And say, My Lord, I seek refuge in you from the incitements of the evil ones. رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا وَرَبُّ الۡمَشٰرِقِ سورة الصَّافات 37:6 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them and the Lord of the suns risings. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ قَتَلۡتُ مِنۡہُمۡ نَفۡسًا فَاَخَافُ اَنۡ یَّقۡتُلُوۡنِ سورة القَصَص28:34 He said, My Lord, I killed a person from among them, and I fear that they will kill me. وَقُل رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ وَارۡحَمۡ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمنون 23:119 And say, My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and you art the Best of those who show mercy. قُلۡ اِنَّ صَلَاتِیۡ وَنُسُکِیۡ وَمَحۡیَایَ وَمَمَاتِیۡ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنعَام6:163 Say, My Prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَاِنَّہٗ لَتَنۡزِیۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:193 And verily this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. تَنۡزِیۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الواقِعَة 56:81 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. قَالَ رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقِ وَالۡمَغۡرِبِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَاۤ ۖ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء 26:29 Moses said, The Lord of the East and of the West, and of all that is between the two, if you did but understand. رَّبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقِ وَالۡمَغۡرِبِ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ فَاتَّخِذۡہُ وَکِیۡلًا سورة المُزمّل73:10 He is the Lord of the East and the West; there is no God but He; so take Him as your Guardian. وَقَالَ مُوۡسٰی یٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف 7:105 And Moses said, O Pharaoh, truly, I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِیۡ لَیۡلًا وَّنَہَارًا سورة نُوح71:6 He said, My Lord, I have called my people night and day, اَللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ سورة النَّمل27:27 Allah! there is no God but He, the Lord of the Mighty Throne. رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَاۤ ۖ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّوۡقِنِیۡنَ سورة الدّخان44:8 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you would only have faith. فَخَرَجَ مِنۡہَا خَآئِفًا یَّتَرَقَّبُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِیۡ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ سورة القَصَص 28:22 So he went forth therefrom, fearing, watchful. He said, My Lord, deliver me from the unjust people. قَالَ یٰقَوۡمِ لَیۡسَ بِیۡ سَفَاہَۃٌ وَّلٰکِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف7:68 He replied, O my people, there is no foolishness in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds. قٰلَ رَبِّ احۡکُمۡ بِالۡحَقِّ ۗ وَرَبُّنَا الرَّحۡمٰنُ الۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلٰی مَا تَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء21:113 He also said, My Lord, judge you with truth. Our Lord is the Gracious God Whose help is to be sought against that which you assert. وَاَعُوۡذُ بِکَ رَبِّ اَنۡ یَّحۡضُرُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون23:99 And I seek refuge in you, my Lord, lest they come near me. رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة الصَّافات37:101 My Lord, grant me a righteous son. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ وَہَنَ الۡعَظۡمُ مِنِّیۡ وَاشۡتَعَلَ الرَّاۡسُ شَیۡبًا وَّلَمۡ اَکُنۡۢ بِدُعَآئِکَ رَبِّ شَقِیًّا سورة مَریَم 19:5 He said, My Lord, the bones have indeed waxed feeble in me, and the head glistens with hoariness, but never, my Lord, have I been unblessed in my prayer to you. رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡنِیۡ مُقِیۡمَ الصَّلٰوۃِ وَمِنۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ سورة إبراهیم 14:41 My Lord, make me observe Prayer, and my children too. Our Lord! bestow your grace on me and accept my prayer. قَالَ ہُمۡ اُولَآءِ عَلٰۤی اَثَرِیۡ وَعَجِلۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ رَبِّ لِتَرۡضٰی سورة طٰه20:85 He said, They are closely following in my footsteps and I have hastened to you, my Lord, that you mightest be pleased. وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:181 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الۡقَوۡمِ الَّذِیۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ۚ وَالۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنعَام 6:46 So the last remnant of the people who did wrong was cut off; and all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ فَلَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ ظَہِیۡرًا لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِیۡنَ سورة القَصَص28:18 He said, My Lord, because you hast bestowed favour upon me, I will never be a helper of the guilty. قُلۡ مَنۡ رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ السَّبۡعِ وَرَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ سورة المؤمنون 23:87 Say, Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Great Throne? قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ اَغۡوَیۡتَنِیۡ لَاُزَیِّنَنَّ لَہُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَاُغۡوِیَنَّہُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ سورة الحِجر 15:40 He answered, My Lord, since you hast adjudged me as lost, I will surely make evil appear beautiful to them on the earth, and I will surely lead them all astray, وَقَالَ نُوۡحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَی الۡاَرۡضِ مِنَ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ دَیَّارًا سورة نُوح 71:27 And Noah said, My Lord, leave not in the land a single one of the disbelievers; وَاخۡفِضۡ لَہُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحۡمَۃِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ارۡحَمۡہُمَا کَمَا رَبَّیَانِیۡ صَغِیۡرًا سورة بنی اسرائیل17:25 And lower to them the wing of humility out of tenderness. And say, My Lord, have mercy on them even as they nourished me in my childhood. رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا فَاعۡبُدۡہُ وَاصۡطَبِرۡ لِعِبٰدَتِہٖ ۚ ہَلۡ تَعۡلَمُ لَہٗ سَمِیًّا سورة مَریَم19:66 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between the two. Serve Him, therefore, and be steadfast in His service. Dost you know any equal of His? قَالَ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَاۤ ۖ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّوۡقِنِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء 26:25 Moses said, The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between the two, if you would be convinced. وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء 26:146 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. قَالَ رَبِّ اجۡعَل لِّیۡۤ اٰیَۃً ۚ قَالَ اٰیَتُکَ اَلَّا تُکَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَ لَیَالٍ سَوِیًّا سورة مَریَم 19:11 He said, My Lord, appoint for me a token.God said, your token is that you shall not speak to anyone for three full days and nights. قَالَ بَل رَّبُّکُمۡ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ الَّذِیۡ فَطَرَہُنَّ وَاَنَا۠ عَلٰی ذٰلِکُمۡ مِّنَ الشّٰہِدِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء21:57 He replied, Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, He Who made them; and I am one of those who bear witness to that. قَالَ رَبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَلِاَخِیۡ وَاَدۡخِلۡنَا فِیۡ رَحۡمَتِکَ ۖ وَاَنۡتَ اَرۡحَمُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف7:152 He (Moses) said, My Lord, forgive me and my brother, and admit us to your mercy, and you art the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. فَتَعٰلَی اللّٰہُ الۡمَلِکُ الۡحَقُّ ۖ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡکَرِیۡمِ سورة المؤمنون 23:117 Exalted then be Allah, the True King. There is no God but He, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء 26:110 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. فَاۡتِیَا فِرۡعَوۡنَ فَقُوۡلَاۤ اِنَّا رَسُوۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء 26:17 So go to Pharaoh, and say, We are the Messengers of the Lord of the worlds, رَّبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا الرَّحۡمٰنِ ۖ لَا یَمۡلِکُوۡنَ مِنۡہُ خِطَابًا سورة النّبَإِ 78:38 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Gracious. They shall not have the power to address Him. لَوۡ کَانَ فِیۡہِمَاۤ اٰلِہَۃٌ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ لَفَسَدَتَا ۚ فَسُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء 21:23 If there had been in them (the heavens and the earth) other gods beside Allah, then surely both would have gone to ruin. Glorified then be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, above what they attribute. قَالَ یٰقَوۡمِ لَیۡسَ بِیۡ ضَلٰلَۃٌ وَّلٰکِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف 7:62 He said, O my people, there is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds. وَزَکَرِیَّاۤ اِذۡ نَادٰی رَبَّہٗ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرۡنِیۡ فَرۡدًا وَّاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡوٰرِثِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء 21:90 And remember Zachariah when he cried to his Lord, saying, My Lord, leave me not childless, and you art the Best of inheritors. وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء 26:128 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. وَمَا تَشَآءُوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّشَآءَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة التّکویر 81:30 While you desire not a thing except that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, desires it. وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء 26:165 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. وَنَادٰی نُوۡحٌ رَّبَّہٗ فَقَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ ابۡنِیۡ مِنۡ اَہۡلِیۡ وَاِنَّ وَعۡدَکَ الۡحَقُّ وَاَنۡتَ اَحۡکَمُ الۡحٰکِمِیۡنَ سورة هُود 11:46 And Noah cried unto his Lord and said: My Lord, verily, my son is of my family, and surely, your promise is true, and you art the Most Just of judges. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ لَاۤ اَمۡلِکُ اِلَّا نَفۡسِیۡ وَاَخِیۡ ۖ فَافۡرُقۡ بَیۡنَنَا وَبَیۡنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الۡفٰسِقِیۡنَ سورة المَائدة 5:26He said, My Lord, I have power over none but myself and my brother; therefore make you a distinction between us and the rebellious people. قَالَ نُوۡحٌ رَّبِّ اِنَّہُمۡ عَصَوۡنِیۡ وَاتَّبَعُوۡا مَنۡ لَّمۡ یَزِدۡہُ مَالُہٗ وَوَلَدُہٗۤ اِلَّا خَسَارًا سورة نُوح 71:22 Noah said, My Lord, they have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children have only added to his ruin. رَبِّ اِنَّہُنَّ اَضۡلَلۡنَ کَثِیۡرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ ۖ فَمَنۡ تَبِعَنِیۡ فَاِنَّہٗ مِنِّیۡ ۖ وَمَنۡ عَصَانِیۡ فَاِنَّکَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ سورة إبراهیم 14:37 My Lord, they have indeed led astray many among mankind. So whoever follows me, he is certainly of me; and whoever disobeys me you art, surely, Most Forgiving, Merciful. قِیۡلَ لَہَا ادۡخُلِی الصَّرۡحَ ۖ فَلَمَّا رَاَتۡہُ حَسِبَتۡہُ لُجَّۃً وَّکَشَفَتۡ عَنۡ سَاقَیۡہَا ۚ قَالَ اِنَّہٗ صَرۡحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّنۡ قَوَارِیۡرَ ۗ قَالَتۡ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِیۡ وَاَسۡلَمۡتُ مَعَ سُلَیۡمٰنَ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل 27:45 It was said to her, Enter the palace. And when she saw it, she yought it to be a great expanse of water, and she uncovered her shanks. Solomon said, It is a palace paved smooth with slabs of glass. She said, My Lord, I indeed wronged my soul; and I submit myself with Solomon to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَقُل رَّبِّ اَدۡخِلۡنِیۡ مُدۡخَلَ صِدۡقٍ وَّاَخۡرِجۡنِیۡ مُخۡرَجَ صِدۡقٍ وَّاجۡعَل لِّیۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ سُلۡطٰنًا نَّصِیۡرًا سورة بنی اسرائیل 17:81 And say, O my Lord, make my entry a good entry and then make me come forth with a good forthcoming. And grant me from yourself a helping power. ہُوَ الۡحَیُّ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ فَادۡعُوۡہُ مُخۡلِصِیۡنَ لَہُ الدِّیۡنَ ۗ اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمن 40:66 He is the Living God. There is no God but He. So pray unto Him, being sincere to Him in deen. All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. دَعۡوٰٮہُمۡ فِیۡہَا سُبۡحٰنَکَ اللّٰہُمَّ وَتَحِیَّتُہُمۡ فِیۡہَا سَلٰمٌ ۚ وَاٰخِرُ دَعۡوٰٮہُمۡ اَنِ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة یُونس 10:11 Their prayer therein shall be, Glory be to you, O Allah! and their greeting therein shall be, Peace. And the conclusion of their prayer shall be, All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. فَلَمَّا جَآءَہَا نُوۡدِیَ اَنۡۢ بُوۡرِکَ مَنۡ فِی النَّارِ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَہَا وَسُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل 27:9 So when he came to it, he was called by a voice: Blessed is he who is in the fire and also those around it; and glorified be Allah, the Lord of the worlds. ہُنَالِکَ دَعَا زَکَرِیَّا رَبَّہٗ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ ذُرِّیَّۃً طَیِّبَۃً ۖ اِنَّکَ سَمِیۡعُ الدُّعَآءِ سورة آل عِمرَان 3:39There and then did Zachariah pray to his Lord, saying, My Lord, grant me from yourself pure offspring; surely, you art the Hearer of prayer. قَالَ رَبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَہَبۡ لِیۡ مُلۡکًا لَّا یَنۡۢبَغِیۡ لِاَحَدٍ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِیۡۤ ۖ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ الۡوَہَّابُ سورة صٓ 38:36 He said, O my Lord, grant me forgiveness and bestow on me a kingdom that will not suit anyone after me; surely you art the Great Bestower. قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّقَدۡ بَلَغَنِیَ الۡکِبَرُ وَامۡرَاَتِیۡ عَاقِرٌ ۖ قَالَ کَذٰلِکَ اللّٰہُ یَفۡعَلُ مَا یَشَآءُ سورة آل عِمرَان 3:41He said, My Lord, how shall I have a son, when age has overtaken me, and my wife is barren? He answered, Such is the way of Allah: He does what He pleases. کَمَثَلِ الشَّیۡطٰنِ اِذۡ قَالَ لِلۡاِنۡسٰنِ اکۡفُرۡ فَلَمَّا کَفَرَ قَالَ اِنِّیۡ بَرِیۡٓءٌ مِّنۡکَ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اللّٰہَ رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الحَشر 59:17 It is like that of Satan, when he says to man, Disbelieve; but when he disbelieves, he says, I have nothing to do with you; I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds. رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَلِوٰلِدَیَّ وَلِمَنۡ دَخَلَ بَیۡتِیَ مُؤۡمِنًا وَّلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ وَالۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ اِلَّا تَبَارًۢا سورة نُوح 71:29 My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and him who enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and the believing women; and increase you not the wrongdoers but in perdition. وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمُ رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡ ہٰذَا الۡبَلَدَ اٰمِنًا وَّاجۡنُبۡنِیۡ وَبَنِیَّ اَنۡ نَّعۡبُدَ الۡاَصۡنَامَ سورة إبراهیم 14:36 And remember when Abraham said, My Lord, make this city a city of peace, and keep me and my children away from serveping idols. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِیۡ فَاغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ فَغَفَرَ لَہٗۤ ۚ اِنَّہٗ ہُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِیۡمُ سورة القَصَص 28:17 He said, My Lord, I have wronged my soul, therefore forgive me. So He forgave him; He is Most Forgiving, Merciful. اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَ لَکُمُ الۡاَرۡضَ قَرَارًا وَّالسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءً وَّصَوَّرَکُمۡ فَاَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَکُمۡ وَرَزَقَکُمۡ مِّنَ الطَّیِّبٰتِ ۚ ذٰلِکُمُ اللّٰہُ رَبُّکُمۡ ۖ فَتَبَارَکَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمن 40:65 Allah it is Who has made for you the earth a resting-place, and the heaven a canopy, and has given you shape and made your shapes perfect, and has provided you with good things. Such is Allah, your Lord. So blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. قُلۡ اَئِنَّکُمۡ لَتَکۡفُرُوۡنَ بِالَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ الۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ یَوۡمَیۡنِ وَتَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لَہٗۤ اَنۡدَادًا ۚ ذٰلِکَ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة حٰمٓ السجدہ 41:10 Say: Do you really disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two days? And do you set up equals to Him? That is the Lord of the worlds. قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّکَانَتِ امۡرَاَتِیۡ عَاقِرًا وَّقَدۡ بَلَغۡتُ مِنَ الۡکِبَرِ عِتِیًّا سورة مَریَم 19:9 He said, My Lord, how shall I have a son when my wife is barren and I have reached the extreme limit of old age? اِذۡ قَالَتِ امۡرَاَتُ عِمۡرٰنَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ نَذَرۡتُ لَکَ مَا فِیۡ بَطۡنِیۡ مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلۡ مِنِّیۡۤ ۖ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ السَّمِیۡعُ الۡعَلِیۡمُ سورة آل عِمرَان 3:36 Remember when the woman of Imran said, My Lord, I have vowed to you what is in my womb to be dedicated to your service. So do accept it of me; verily, you alone art All-Hearing, All-Knowing. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡۤ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ اَنۡ اَسۡـَٔلَکَ مَا لَیۡسَ لِیۡ بِہٖ عِلۡمٌ ۖ وَّاِلَّا تَغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَتَرۡحَمۡنِیۡۤ اَکُنۡ مِّنَ الۡخٰسِرِیۡنَ سورة هُود 11:48 He said: My Lord, I beg you to protect me from asking you that whereof I have no knowledge. And unless you forgive me and have mercy on me, I shall be among the losers. لَئِنۡۢ بَسَطتَّ اِلَیَّ یَدَکَ لِتَقۡتُلَنِیۡ مَاۤ اَنَا۠ بِبَاسِطٍ یَّدِیَ اِلَیۡکَ لِاَقۡتُلَکَ ۖ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اللّٰہَ رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة المَائدة 5:29If you stretch out your hand against me to kill me, I am not going to stretch out my hand against you to kill you. I do fear Allah, the Lord of the universe. فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَقُلۡ حَسۡبِیَ اللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ ۖ عَلَیۡہِ تَوَکَّلۡتُ ۖ وَہُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ سورة التّوبَة 9:129 But if they turn away, say, Allah is sufficient for me. There is no God but He. In Him do I put my trust, and He is the Lord of the mighty Throne. فَلَمَّاۤ اَتٰٮہَا نُوۡدِیَ مِنۡ شٰطِئِ الۡوَادِ الۡاَیۡمَنِ فِی الۡبُقۡعَۃِ الۡمُبٰرَکَۃِ مِنَ الشَّجَرَۃِ اَنۡ یّٰمُوۡسٰۤی اِنِّیۡۤ اَنَا اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة القَصَص 28:31 And when he came to it, he was called by a voice from the right side of the Valley, in the blessed spot, out of the tree: O Moses, verily I am, I am Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَرَبَطۡنَا عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ اِذۡ قَامُوۡا فَقَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ لَنۡ نَّدۡعُوَا۠ مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اِلٰہًا ۖ لَّقَدۡ قُلۡنَاۤ اِذًا شَطَطًا سورة الکهف 18:15 And We strengthened their hearts, when they stood up and said, Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Never shall we call upon any god beside Him; if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity. وَتَرَی الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃَ حَآفِّیۡنَ مِنۡ حَوۡلِ الۡعَرۡشِ یُسَبِّحُوۡنَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّہِمۡ ۖ وَقُضِیَ بَیۡنَہُمۡ بِالۡحَقِّ وَقِیۡلَ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الزُّمَر 39:76 And you wilt see the angels going round the Throne, glorifying their Lord with His praise. And it will be judged between them with justice. And it will be said: All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds فَسَقٰی لَہُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلّٰۤی اِلَی الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ لِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡتَ اِلَیَّ مِنۡ خَیۡرٍ فَقِیۡرٌ سورة القَصَص 28:25 So he watered their flocks for them. Then he turned aside into the shade, and said, My Lord, I am in need of whatever good you mayest send down to me وَلَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوۡسٰی بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤ اِلٰی فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَا۠ئِہٖ فَقَالَ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الزّخرُف 43:47 And We did send Moses with Our Signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs, and he said, I am truly a Messenger of the Lord of the worlds اِنَّمَاۤ اُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَعۡبُدَ رَبَّ ہٰذِہِ الۡبَلۡدَۃِ الَّذِیۡ حَرَّمَہَا وَلَہٗ کُلُّ شَیۡءٍ ۖ وَّاُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل 27:92 Say, I am commanded only to serve the Lord of this city which He has made sacred, and to Him belong all things; and I am commanded to be of those who submit to God; قَالَ رَبِّ اجۡعَل لِّیۡۤ اٰیَۃً ۖ قَالَ اٰیَتُکَ اَلَّا تُکَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَۃَ اَیَّامٍ اِلَّا رَمۡزًا ۗ وَاذۡکُر رَّبَّکَ کَثِیۡرًا وَّسَبِّحۡ بِالۡعَشِیِّ وَالۡاِبۡکٰرِ سورة آل عِمرَان3:42 He said, My Lord, appoint a token for me He replied, your token shall be that you shall not speak to men for three days except by signs. And remember your Lord much and glorify Him in the evening and in the early morning قَالَ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ ہٰٓؤُلَآءِ اِلَّا رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ بَصَآئِرَ وَاِنِّیۡ لَاَظُنُّکَ یٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ مَثۡبُوۡرًا سورة بنی اسرائیل 17:103 He said, you knowest well that none has sent down these Signs but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as so many evidences; and I certainly think you, O Pharaoh, to be a ruined man رَبِّ قَدۡ اٰتَیۡتَنِیۡ مِنَ الۡمُلۡکِ وَعَلَّمۡتَنِیۡ مِنۡ تَاۡوِیۡلِ الۡاَحَادِیۡثِ ۚ فَاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ اَنۡتَ وَلِیّٖ فِی الدُّنۡیَا وَالۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِیۡ مُسۡلِمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِیۡ بِالصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة یُوسُف 12:1023 O my Lord, you hast bestowed power upon me and taught me the interpretation of dreams. O Maker of the heavens and the earth, you art my Protector in this world and the Hereafter. Let death come to me in a state of submission to your will and join me to the righteous وَمَا کَانَ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنُ اَنۡ یُّفۡتَرٰی مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَلٰکِنۡ تَصۡدِیۡقَ الَّذِیۡ بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡہِ وَتَفۡصِیۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ مِنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة یُونس 10:385 And this Quran is not such as might be devised by any one except Allah. On the contrary, it fulfils that which is before it and is an exposition of the Law of God. There is no doubt about it. It is from the Lord of the worlds. وَاَنۡفِقُوۡا مِنۡ مَّا رَزَقۡنٰکُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ یَّاۡتِیَ اَحَدَکُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ فَیَقُوۡلَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَاۤ اَخَّرۡتَنِیۡۤ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ قَرِیۡبٍ فَاَصَّدَّقَ وَاَکُنۡ مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة المنَافِقون 63:11 And spend out of that with which We have provided you before death comes upon one of you and he says, My Lord! if only you wouldst grant me respite for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous قَالَ رَبِّ السِّجۡنُ اَحَبُّ اِلَیَّ مِمَّا یَدۡعُوۡنَنِیۡۤ اِلَیۡہِ ۖ وَاِلَّا تَصۡرِفۡ عَنِّیۡ کَیۡدَہُنَّ اَصۡبُ اِلَیۡہِنَّ وَاَکُنۡ مِّنَ الۡجٰہِلِیۡنَ سورة یُوسُف 12:346 He said, O my Lord, I would prefer prison to that to which they invite me; and unless you turn away their guile from me I shall incline towards them and be of the ignorant فَتَعٰلَی اللّٰہُ الۡمَلِکُ الۡحَقُّ ۗ وَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ بِالۡقُرۡاٰنِ مِنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ یُّقۡضٰۤی اِلَیۡکَ وَحۡیُہٗ ۖ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدۡنِیۡ عِلۡمًا سورة طٰه 20:115 Exalted then is Allah, the True King! And be not impatient for the Quran ere its revelation is completed unto you, but only say, O my Lord, increase me in knowledge فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتۡہَا قَالَتۡ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ وَضَعۡتُہَاۤ اُنۡثٰی وَاللّٰہُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتۡ وَلَیۡسَ الذَّکَرُ کَالۡاُنۡثٰی ۖ وَاِنِّیۡ سَمَّیۡتُہَا مَرۡیَمَ وَاِنِّیۡۤ اُعِیۡذُہَا بِکَ وَذُرِّیَّتَہَا مِنَ الشَّیۡطٰنِ الرَّجِیۡمِ سورة آل عِمرَان 3:37 But when she was delivered of it, she said, My Lord, I am delivered of a female — and Allah knew best what she had brought forth and the male she was thinking of was not like the female she had brought forth — and I have named her Mary, and I commit her and her offspring to your protection from Satan, the rejected وَضَرَبَ اللّٰہُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا امۡرَاَتَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ اِذۡ قَالَتۡ رَبِّ ابۡنِ لِیۡ عِنۡدَکَ بَیۡتًا فِی الۡجَنَّۃِ وَنَجِّنِیۡ مِنۡ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَعَمَلِہٖ وَنَجِّنِیۡ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ سورة التّحْریم 66:12 And Allah sets forth for those who believe the example of the wife of Pharaoh when she said, My Lord! build for me a house with you in the Garden; and deliver me from Pharaoh and his work, and deliver me from the wrongdoing people; قَالَتۡ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡ وَلَدٌ وَّلَمۡ یَمۡسَسۡنِیۡ بَشَرٌ ۖ قَالَ کَذٰلِکِ اللّٰہُ یَخۡلُقُ مَا یَشَآءُ ۚ اِذَا قَضٰۤی اَمۡرًا فَاِنَّمَا یَقُوۡلُ لَہٗ کُنۡ فَیَکُوۡنُ سورة آل عِمرَان3: She said, My Lord, how shall I have a son, when no man has touched me? He said, “Such is the way of Allah, He creates what He pleases. When He decrees a thing, He says to it, Be! and it is. قُلۡ اَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ اَبۡغِیۡ رَبًّا وَّہُوَ رَبُّ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ ۚ وَلَا تَکۡسِبُ کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ اِلَّا عَلَیۡہَا ۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَۃٌ وِّزۡرَ اُخۡرٰی ۚ ثُمَّ اِلٰی رَبِّکُمۡ مَّرۡجِعُکُمۡ فَیُنَبِّئُکُمۡ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡہِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ سورة الاٴنعَام 6:165 Say, Shall I seek a lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of all things? And no soul acts but only against itself; nor does any bearer of burden bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord will be your return, and He will inform you of that wherein you used to differ. فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِکًا مِّنۡ قَوۡلِہَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡکُرَ نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلٰی وٰلِدَیَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صٰلِحًا تَرۡضٰٮہُ وَاَدۡخِلۡنِیۡ بِرَحۡمَتِکَ فِیۡ عِبَادِکَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل 27:20 Thereupon he smiled, laughing at her words, and said, My Lord, grant me the will and power to be grateful for your favour which you hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do such good works as would please you, and admit me, by your mercy, among your righteous servants وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہٖمُ رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡ ہٰذَا بَلَدًا اٰمِنًا وَّارۡزُقۡ اَہۡلَہٗ مِنَ الثَّمَرٰتِ مَنۡ اٰمَنَ مِنۡہُمۡ بِاللّٰہِ وَالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَنۡ کَفَرَ فَاُمَتِّعُہٗ قَلِیۡلًا ثُمَّ اَضۡطَرُّہٗۤ اِلٰی عَذَابِ النَّارِ ۖ وَبِئۡسَ الۡمَصِیۡرُ سورة البَقَرَة 2:127 And remember when Abraham said, My Lord, make this a town of peace and provide with fruits such of its dwellers as believe in Allah and the Last Day, He said, And on him too who believes not will I bestow benefits for a little while; then will I drive him to the punishment of the Fire, and an evil destination it is وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہٖمُ رَبِّ اَرِنِیۡ کَیۡفَ تُحۡیِ الۡمَوۡتٰی ۖ قَالَ اَوَلَمۡ تُؤۡمِنۡ ۖ قَالَ بَلٰی وَلٰکِنۡ لِّیَطۡمَئِنَّ قَلۡبِیۡ ۖ قَالَ فَخُذۡ اَرۡبَعَۃً مِّنَ الطَّیۡرِ فَصُرۡہُنَّ اِلَیۡکَ ثُمَّ اجۡعَلۡ عَلٰی کُلِّ جَبَلٍ مِّنۡہُنَّ جُزۡءًا ثُمَّ ادۡعُہُنَّ یَاۡتِیۡنَکَ سَعۡیًا ۚ وَاعۡلَمۡ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ عَزِیۡزٌ حَکِیۡمٌ سورة البَقَرَة 2:261 And remember when Abraham said, My Lord, show me how you give life to the dead He said, Hast you not believed? He said, Yes, but I ask this that my heart may be at rest He answered, Take four birds and make them attached to yourself. Then put each of them on a hill; then call them; they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is Mighty, Wise وَاخۡتَارَ مُوۡسٰی قَوۡمَہٗ سَبۡعِیۡنَ رَجُلًا لِّمِیۡقٰتِنَا ۖ فَلَمَّاۤ اَخَذَتۡہُمُ الرَّجۡفَۃُ قَالَ رَبِّ لَوۡ شِئۡتَ اَہۡلَکۡتَہُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلُ وَاِیّٰیَ ۖ اَتُہۡلِکُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ السُّفَہَآءُ مِنَّاۤ ۖ اِنۡ ہِیَ اِلَّا فِتۡنَتُکَ تُضِلُّ بِہَا مَنۡ تَشَآءُ وَتَہۡدِیۡ مَنۡ تَشَآءُ ۖ اَنۡتَ وَلِیُّنَا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا ۖ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡغٰفِرِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف 7:156 And Moses chose of his people seventy men for Our appointment. But when the earthquake overtook them, he said, My Lord, if you had pleased, you could have destroyed them before this, and me also. Wilt you destroy us for that which the foolish among us have done? This is nothing but a trial from you. You cause to perish thereby whom you please and you guide whom you please. you art our Protector; forgive us then and have mercy on us, for you art the Best of those who forgive. وَوَصَّیۡنَا الۡاِنۡسٰنَ بِوٰلِدَیۡہِ اِحۡسٰنًا ۖ حَمَلَتۡہُ اُمُّہٗ کُرۡہًا وَّوَضَعَتۡہُ کُرۡہًا ۖ وَّحَمۡلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰثُوۡنَ شَہۡرًا ۚ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا بَلَغَ اَشُدَّہٗ وَبَلَغَ اَرۡبَعِیۡنَ سَنَۃً قَالَ رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡکُرَ نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلٰی وٰلِدَیَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صٰلِحًا تَرۡضٰٮہُ وَاَصۡلِحۡ لِیۡ فِیۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡۤ ۖ اِنِّیۡ تُبۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ وَاِنِّیۡ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴحقاف 46:16 And We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents. His mother bears him with pain, and brings him forth with pain. And the bearing of him and his weaning takes thirty months, till, when he attains his full maturity and reaches the age of forty years, he says, My Lord, grant me the power that I may be grateful for your favour which you hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do such good works as may please you. And make my seed righteous for me. I do turn to you; and, truly, I am of those who submit to you اِنَّ رَبَّکُمُ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ سِتَّۃِ اَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰی عَلَی الۡعَرۡشِ یُغۡشِی الَّیۡلَ النَّہَارَ یَطۡلُبُہٗ حَثِیۡثًا وَّالشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُوۡمَ مُسَخَّرٰتٍۭ بِاَمۡرِہٖۤ ۗ اَلَا لَہُ الۡخَلۡقُ وَالۡاَمۡرُ ۗ تَبَارَکَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف 7:55 Surely, your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods; then He settled Himself on the Throne. He makes the night cover the day, which pursues it swiftly. And He created the sun and the moon and the stars, all made subservient by His command. Verily, His is the creation and the command. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَلَمَّا جَآءَ مُوۡسٰی لِمِیۡقٰتِنَا وَکَلَّمَہٗ رَبُّہٗ قَالَ رَبِّ اَرِنِیۡۤ اَنۡظُرۡ اِلَیۡکَ ۚ قَالَ لَنۡ تَرٰٮنِیۡ وَلٰکِنِ انۡظُرۡ اِلَی الۡجَبَلِ فَاِنِ اسۡتَقَرَّ مَکَانَہٗ فَسَوۡفَ تَرٰٮنِیۡ ۚ فَلَمَّا تَجَلّٰی رَبُّہٗ لِلۡجَبَلِ جَعَلَہٗ دَکًّا وَّخَرَّ مُوۡسٰی صَعِقًا ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبۡحٰنَکَ تُبۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ وَاَنَا۠ اَوَّلُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف 7:144 And when Moses came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, My Lord, show yourself to me that I may look at you He replied, you shall not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it remains in its place, then shall you see Me And when his Lord manifested Himself on the mountain, He broke it into pieces and Moses fell down unconscious. And when he recovered, he said, Holy art you, I turn towards you, and I am the first to believe قُلۡ مَنۡ رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ قُلِ اللّٰہُ ۚ قُلۡ اَفَاتَّخَذۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اَوۡلِیَآءَ لَا یَمۡلِکُوۡنَ لِاَنۡفُسِہِمۡ نَفۡعًا وَّلَا ضَرًّا ۚ قُلۡ ہَلۡ یَسۡتَوِی الۡاَعۡمٰی وَالۡبَصِیۡرُ اَمۡ ہَلۡ تَسۡتَوِی الظُّلُمٰتُ وَالنُّوۡرُ ۗ اَمۡ جَعَلُوۡا لِلّٰہِ شُرَکَآءَ خَلَقُوۡا کَخَلۡقِہٖ فَتَشٰبَہَ الۡخَلۡقُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۚ قُلِ اللّٰہُ خٰلِقُ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ وَّہُوَ الۡوٰحِدُ الۡقَہّٰرُ سورة الرّعد 13:17 Say, Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth? Say, Allah Say, Have you then taken beside Him helpers who have no power for good or harm even for themselves? Say, Can the blind and the seeing be equal? Or, can darkness be equal to light? Or, do they assign to Allah partners who have created the like of His creation so that the two creations appear similar to them? Say, Allah alone is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Most Supreme

فَلِلّٰہِ الۡحَمۡدُ رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَرَبِّ الۡاَرۡضِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الجَاثیَة45:37
All praise, then, belongs to Allah, Lord of the heavens, and Lord of the earth, the Lord of all the worlds.
قَالَ رَبِّ انۡصُرۡنِیۡ عَلَی الۡقَوۡمِ الۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ سورة العَنکبوت
29:31 He said, Help me, my Lord, against the wicked people.
سُبۡحٰنَ رَبِّکَ رَبِّ الۡعِزَّۃِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الصَّافات37:181
Holy is your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power, far above that which they assert.
قَالَ رَبِّ انۡصُرۡنِیۡ بِمَا کَذَّبُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون
23:27 He said, O my Lord, help me, for they have treated me as a liar.
رَبِّ مُوۡسٰی وَہٰرُوۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:49
The Lord of Moses, and of Aaron.
وَالۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الصَّافات
37:183 And all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
سُبۡحٰنَ رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ رَبِّ الۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الزّخرُف
43:83 Holy is Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, and He is free from all that which they attribute to Him.
قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنۡظِرۡنِیۡۤ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ سورة الحِجر
15:37 He said, My Lord, then grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised.
حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءَ اَحَدَہُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارۡجِعُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون
23:100 Until, when death comes to one of them, he says entreating, My Lord, send me back,
قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَا رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:24 Pharaoh said, And what is the Lord of the worlds? اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الفَاتِحَة
1:2 All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,
وَاَنَّہٗ ہُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعۡرٰی سورة النّجْم
53:50 And that He is the Lord of Sirius;
تَنۡزِیۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الحَاقَّة69:44
It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقَیۡنِ وَرَبُّ الۡمَغۡرِبَیۡنِ سورة الرَّحمٰن55:18
The Lord of the two Easts and the Lord of the two Wests!
رَبِّ نَجِّنِیۡ وَاَہۡلِیۡ مِمَّا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:170
My Lord, save me and my family from what they do.
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ قَوۡمِیۡ کَذَّبُوۡنِ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:118
He said, My Lord, my people have treated me as a liar.
فَلۡیَعۡبُدُوۡا رَبَّ ہٰذَا الۡبَیۡتِ سورة القُرَیش
106:4 They should serve the Lord of this House,
رَبِّ فَلَا تَجۡعَلۡنِیۡ فِی الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمنون
23:95 My Lord, then place me not with the wrongdoing people.
قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنۡظِرۡنِیۡۤ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ سورة صٓ
38:80 He said, My Lord, then grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised.
قُل رَّبِّ اِمَّا تُرِیَنِّیۡ مَا یُوۡعَدُوۡنَ سورة المؤمنون
23:94 Say, My Lord, if you wilt show me that with which they are threatened.
رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ حُکۡمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِیۡ بِالصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:84
My Lord, bestow wisdom on me and join me with the righteous;
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اَنۡ یُّکَذِّبُوۡنِ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:13
He said, My Lord, I fear that they will treat me as a liar;
رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا الۡعَزِیۡزُ الۡغَفّٰرُ سورة صٓ38:67
The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between the two, the Mighty, the Great Forgiver.
فَاِنَّہُمۡ عَدُوٌّ لِّیۡۤ اِلَّا رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:78
They are all enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds;
یَرِثُنِیۡ وَیَرِثُ مِنۡ اٰلِ یَعۡقُوۡبَ ۖ وَاجۡعَلۡہُ رَبِّ رَضِیًّا سورة مَریَم
19:7 That he may be heir to me and to the House of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, well-pleasing to you.
رَبِّ مُوۡسٰی وَہٰرُوۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف7:123
The Lord of Moses and Aaron.
قَالَ رَبِّ اشۡرَحۡ لِیۡ صَدۡرِیۡ سورة طٰه
20:26 Moses said, My Lord, open out for me my breast, قَالَ رَبِّ انۡصُرۡنِیۡ بِمَا کَذَّبُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون
23:40 He said, My Lord, help me, for they have treated me as a liar.
سَلٰمٌ قَوۡلًا مِّنۡ رَّبٍّ رَّحِیۡمٍ سورة یسٓ
36:59 Peace on you a word of greeting from the Merciful Lord.
قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرۡتَنِیۡۤ اَعۡمٰی وَقَدۡ کُنۡتُ بَصِیۡرًا سورة طٰه20:126
He will say, My Lord, why hast you raised me up blind, while I possessed sight before?
وَقُل رَّبِّ اَنۡزِلۡنِیۡ مُنۡزَلًا مُّبَارَکًا وَّاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡمُنۡزِلِیۡنَ سورة المؤمنون
23:30 And say, My Lord, cause me to land a blessed landing, for you art the Best of those who bring men to land.
تَنۡزِیۡلُ الۡکِتٰبِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ مِنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة السَّجدَة
32:3 The revelation of the Book there is no doubt about it is from the Lord of the worlds.
وَقُل رَّبِّ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ مِنۡ ہَمَزٰتِ الشَّیٰطِیۡنِ سورة المؤمنون23:98
And say, My Lord, I seek refuge in you from the incitements of the evil ones.
رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا وَرَبُّ الۡمَشٰرِقِ سورة الصَّافات
37:6 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them and the Lord of the suns risings.
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ قَتَلۡتُ مِنۡہُمۡ نَفۡسًا فَاَخَافُ اَنۡ یَّقۡتُلُوۡنِ سورة القَصَص28:34
He said, My Lord, I killed a person from among them, and I fear that they will kill me.
وَقُل رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ وَارۡحَمۡ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمنون
23:119 And say, My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and you art the Best of those who show mercy.
قُلۡ اِنَّ صَلَاتِیۡ وَنُسُکِیۡ وَمَحۡیَایَ وَمَمَاتِیۡ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنعَام6:163
Say, My Prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
وَاِنَّہٗ لَتَنۡزِیۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:193 And verily this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
تَنۡزِیۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الواقِعَة
56:81 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
قَالَ رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقِ وَالۡمَغۡرِبِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَاۤ ۖ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:29 Moses said, The Lord of the East and of the West, and of all that is between the two, if you did but understand.
رَّبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقِ وَالۡمَغۡرِبِ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ فَاتَّخِذۡہُ وَکِیۡلًا سورة المُزمّل73:10
He is the Lord of the East and the West; there is no God but He; so take Him as your Guardian.
وَقَالَ مُوۡسٰی یٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:105 And Moses said, O Pharaoh, truly, I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds.
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِیۡ لَیۡلًا وَّنَہَارًا سورة نُوح71:6
He said, My Lord, I have called my people night and day,
اَللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ سورة النَّمل27:27
Allah! there is no God but He, the Lord of the Mighty Throne. رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَاۤ ۖ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّوۡقِنِیۡنَ سورة الدّخان44:8
The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you would only have faith.
فَخَرَجَ مِنۡہَا خَآئِفًا یَّتَرَقَّبُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِیۡ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ سورة القَصَص
28:22 So he went forth therefrom, fearing, watchful. He said, My Lord, deliver me from the unjust people.
قَالَ یٰقَوۡمِ لَیۡسَ بِیۡ سَفَاہَۃٌ وَّلٰکِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف7:68
He replied, O my people, there is no foolishness in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds.
قٰلَ رَبِّ احۡکُمۡ بِالۡحَقِّ ۗ وَرَبُّنَا الرَّحۡمٰنُ الۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلٰی مَا تَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء21:113
He also said, My Lord, judge you with truth. Our Lord is the Gracious God Whose help is to be sought against that which you assert.
وَاَعُوۡذُ بِکَ رَبِّ اَنۡ یَّحۡضُرُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون23:99 And I seek refuge in you, my Lord, lest they come near me.
رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة الصَّافات37:101
My Lord, grant me a righteous son.
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ وَہَنَ الۡعَظۡمُ مِنِّیۡ وَاشۡتَعَلَ الرَّاۡسُ شَیۡبًا وَّلَمۡ اَکُنۡۢ بِدُعَآئِکَ رَبِّ شَقِیًّا سورة مَریَم
19:5 He said, My Lord, the bones have indeed waxed feeble in me, and the head glistens with hoariness, but never, my Lord, have I been unblessed in my prayer to you.
رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡنِیۡ مُقِیۡمَ الصَّلٰوۃِ وَمِنۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ سورة إبراهیم
14:41 My Lord, make me observe Prayer, and my children too. Our Lord! bestow your grace on me and accept my prayer.
قَالَ ہُمۡ اُولَآءِ عَلٰۤی اَثَرِیۡ وَعَجِلۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ رَبِّ لِتَرۡضٰی سورة طٰه20:85
He said, They are closely following in my footsteps and I have hastened to you, my Lord, that you mightest be pleased.
وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:181
And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds.
فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الۡقَوۡمِ الَّذِیۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ۚ وَالۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنعَام
6:46 So the last remnant of the people who did wrong was cut off; and all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ فَلَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ ظَہِیۡرًا لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِیۡنَ سورة القَصَص28:18
He said, My Lord, because you hast bestowed favour upon me, I will never be a helper of the guilty.
قُلۡ مَنۡ رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ السَّبۡعِ وَرَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ سورة المؤمنون
23:87 Say, Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Great Throne?
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ اَغۡوَیۡتَنِیۡ لَاُزَیِّنَنَّ لَہُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَاُغۡوِیَنَّہُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ سورة الحِجر
15:40 He answered, My Lord, since you hast adjudged me as lost, I will surely make evil appear beautiful to them on the earth, and I will surely lead them all astray,
وَقَالَ نُوۡحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَی الۡاَرۡضِ مِنَ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ دَیَّارًا سورة نُوح
71:27 And Noah said, My Lord, leave not in the land a single one of the disbelievers;
وَاخۡفِضۡ لَہُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحۡمَۃِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ارۡحَمۡہُمَا کَمَا رَبَّیَانِیۡ صَغِیۡرًا سورة بنی اسرائیل17:25
And lower to them the wing of humility out of tenderness. And say, My Lord, have mercy on them even as they nourished me in my childhood.
رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا فَاعۡبُدۡہُ وَاصۡطَبِرۡ لِعِبٰدَتِہٖ ۚ ہَلۡ تَعۡلَمُ لَہٗ سَمِیًّا سورة مَریَم19:66
He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between the two. Serve Him, therefore, and be steadfast in His service. Dost you know any equal of His?
قَالَ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَاۤ ۖ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّوۡقِنِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:25 Moses said, The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between the two, if you would be convinced.
وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:146 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds.
قَالَ رَبِّ اجۡعَل لِّیۡۤ اٰیَۃً ۚ قَالَ اٰیَتُکَ اَلَّا تُکَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَ لَیَالٍ سَوِیًّا سورة مَریَم
19:11 He said, My Lord, appoint for me a token.God said, your token is that you shall not speak to anyone for three full days and nights.
قَالَ بَل رَّبُّکُمۡ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ الَّذِیۡ فَطَرَہُنَّ وَاَنَا۠ عَلٰی ذٰلِکُمۡ مِّنَ الشّٰہِدِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء21:57
He replied, Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, He Who made them; and I am one of those who bear witness to that.
قَالَ رَبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَلِاَخِیۡ وَاَدۡخِلۡنَا فِیۡ رَحۡمَتِکَ ۖ وَاَنۡتَ اَرۡحَمُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف7:152
He (Moses) said, My Lord, forgive me and my brother, and admit us to your mercy, and you art the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
فَتَعٰلَی اللّٰہُ الۡمَلِکُ الۡحَقُّ ۖ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡکَرِیۡمِ سورة المؤمنون
23:117 Exalted then be Allah, the True King. There is no God but He, the Lord of the Glorious Throne.
وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:110 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds.
فَاۡتِیَا فِرۡعَوۡنَ فَقُوۡلَاۤ اِنَّا رَسُوۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:17 So go to Pharaoh, and say, We are the Messengers of the Lord of the worlds,
رَّبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا الرَّحۡمٰنِ ۖ لَا یَمۡلِکُوۡنَ مِنۡہُ خِطَابًا سورة النّبَإِ
78:38 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Gracious. They shall not have the power to address Him.
لَوۡ کَانَ فِیۡہِمَاۤ اٰلِہَۃٌ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ لَفَسَدَتَا ۚ فَسُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء
21:23 If there had been in them (the heavens and the earth) other gods beside Allah, then surely both would have gone to ruin. Glorified then be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, above what they attribute.
قَالَ یٰقَوۡمِ لَیۡسَ بِیۡ ضَلٰلَۃٌ وَّلٰکِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:62 He said, O my people, there is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds. وَزَکَرِیَّاۤ اِذۡ نَادٰی رَبَّہٗ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرۡنِیۡ فَرۡدًا وَّاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡوٰرِثِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء
21:90 And remember Zachariah when he cried to his Lord, saying, My Lord, leave me not childless, and you art the Best of inheritors. وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:128 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. وَمَا تَشَآءُوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّشَآءَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة التّکویر
81:30 While you desire not a thing except that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, desires it. وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:165 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. وَنَادٰی نُوۡحٌ رَّبَّہٗ فَقَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ ابۡنِیۡ مِنۡ اَہۡلِیۡ وَاِنَّ وَعۡدَکَ الۡحَقُّ وَاَنۡتَ اَحۡکَمُ الۡحٰکِمِیۡنَ سورة هُود
11:46 And Noah cried unto his Lord and said: My Lord, verily, my son is of my family, and surely, your promise is true, and you art the Most Just of judges. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ لَاۤ اَمۡلِکُ اِلَّا نَفۡسِیۡ وَاَخِیۡ ۖ فَافۡرُقۡ بَیۡنَنَا وَبَیۡنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الۡفٰسِقِیۡنَ سورة المَائدة
5:26He said, My Lord, I have power over none but myself and my brother; therefore make you a distinction between us and the rebellious people. قَالَ نُوۡحٌ رَّبِّ اِنَّہُمۡ عَصَوۡنِیۡ وَاتَّبَعُوۡا مَنۡ لَّمۡ یَزِدۡہُ مَالُہٗ وَوَلَدُہٗۤ اِلَّا خَسَارًا سورة نُوح
71:22 Noah said, My Lord, they have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children have only added to his ruin. رَبِّ اِنَّہُنَّ اَضۡلَلۡنَ کَثِیۡرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ ۖ فَمَنۡ تَبِعَنِیۡ فَاِنَّہٗ مِنِّیۡ ۖ وَمَنۡ عَصَانِیۡ فَاِنَّکَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ سورة إبراهیم
14:37 My Lord, they have indeed led astray many among mankind. So whoever follows me, he is certainly of me; and whoever disobeys me you art, surely, Most Forgiving, Merciful. قِیۡلَ لَہَا ادۡخُلِی الصَّرۡحَ ۖ فَلَمَّا رَاَتۡہُ حَسِبَتۡہُ لُجَّۃً وَّکَشَفَتۡ عَنۡ سَاقَیۡہَا ۚ قَالَ اِنَّہٗ صَرۡحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّنۡ قَوَارِیۡرَ ۗ قَالَتۡ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِیۡ وَاَسۡلَمۡتُ مَعَ سُلَیۡمٰنَ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل
27:45 It was said to her, Enter the palace. And when she saw it, she yought it to be a great expanse of water, and she uncovered her shanks. Solomon said, It is a palace paved smooth with slabs of glass. She said, My Lord, I indeed wronged my soul; and I submit myself with Solomon to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَقُل رَّبِّ اَدۡخِلۡنِیۡ مُدۡخَلَ صِدۡقٍ وَّاَخۡرِجۡنِیۡ مُخۡرَجَ صِدۡقٍ وَّاجۡعَل لِّیۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ سُلۡطٰنًا نَّصِیۡرًا سورة بنی اسرائیل
17:81 And say, O my Lord, make my entry a good entry and then make me come forth with a good forthcoming. And grant me from yourself a helping power. ہُوَ الۡحَیُّ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ فَادۡعُوۡہُ مُخۡلِصِیۡنَ لَہُ الدِّیۡنَ ۗ اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمن
40:66 He is the Living God. There is no God but He. So pray unto Him, being sincere to Him in deen. All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. دَعۡوٰٮہُمۡ فِیۡہَا سُبۡحٰنَکَ اللّٰہُمَّ وَتَحِیَّتُہُمۡ فِیۡہَا سَلٰمٌ ۚ وَاٰخِرُ دَعۡوٰٮہُمۡ اَنِ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة یُونس
10:11 Their prayer therein shall be, Glory be to you, O Allah! and their greeting therein shall be, Peace. And the conclusion of their prayer shall be, All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. فَلَمَّا جَآءَہَا نُوۡدِیَ اَنۡۢ بُوۡرِکَ مَنۡ فِی النَّارِ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَہَا وَسُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل
27:9 So when he came to it, he was called by a voice: Blessed is he who is in the fire and also those around it; and glorified be Allah, the Lord of the worlds. ہُنَالِکَ دَعَا زَکَرِیَّا رَبَّہٗ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ ذُرِّیَّۃً طَیِّبَۃً ۖ اِنَّکَ سَمِیۡعُ الدُّعَآءِ سورة آل عِمرَان
3:39There and then did Zachariah pray to his Lord, saying, My Lord, grant me from yourself pure offspring; surely, you art the Hearer of prayer. قَالَ رَبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَہَبۡ لِیۡ مُلۡکًا لَّا یَنۡۢبَغِیۡ لِاَحَدٍ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِیۡۤ ۖ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ الۡوَہَّابُ سورة صٓ
38:36 He said, O my Lord, grant me forgiveness and bestow on me a kingdom that will not suit anyone after me; surely you art the Great Bestower. قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّقَدۡ بَلَغَنِیَ الۡکِبَرُ وَامۡرَاَتِیۡ عَاقِرٌ ۖ قَالَ کَذٰلِکَ اللّٰہُ یَفۡعَلُ مَا یَشَآءُ سورة آل عِمرَان
3:41He said, My Lord, how shall I have a son, when age has overtaken me, and my wife is barren? He answered, Such is the way of Allah: He does what He pleases. کَمَثَلِ الشَّیۡطٰنِ اِذۡ قَالَ لِلۡاِنۡسٰنِ اکۡفُرۡ فَلَمَّا کَفَرَ قَالَ اِنِّیۡ بَرِیۡٓءٌ مِّنۡکَ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اللّٰہَ رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الحَشر
59:17 It is like that of Satan, when he says to man, Disbelieve; but when he disbelieves, he says, I have nothing to do with you; I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds. رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَلِوٰلِدَیَّ وَلِمَنۡ دَخَلَ بَیۡتِیَ مُؤۡمِنًا وَّلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ وَالۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ اِلَّا تَبَارًۢا سورة نُوح
71:29 My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and him who enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and the believing women; and increase you not the wrongdoers but in perdition. وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمُ رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡ ہٰذَا الۡبَلَدَ اٰمِنًا وَّاجۡنُبۡنِیۡ وَبَنِیَّ اَنۡ نَّعۡبُدَ الۡاَصۡنَامَ سورة إبراهیم
14:36 And remember when Abraham said, My Lord, make this city a city of peace, and keep me and my children away from serveping idols. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِیۡ فَاغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ فَغَفَرَ لَہٗۤ ۚ اِنَّہٗ ہُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِیۡمُ سورة القَصَص
28:17 He said, My Lord, I have wronged my soul, therefore forgive me. So He forgave him; He is Most Forgiving, Merciful. اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَ لَکُمُ الۡاَرۡضَ قَرَارًا وَّالسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءً وَّصَوَّرَکُمۡ فَاَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَکُمۡ وَرَزَقَکُمۡ مِّنَ الطَّیِّبٰتِ ۚ ذٰلِکُمُ اللّٰہُ رَبُّکُمۡ ۖ فَتَبَارَکَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمن
40:65 Allah it is Who has made for you the earth a resting-place, and the heaven a canopy, and has given you shape and made your shapes perfect, and has provided you with good things. Such is Allah, your Lord. So blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. قُلۡ اَئِنَّکُمۡ لَتَکۡفُرُوۡنَ بِالَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ الۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ یَوۡمَیۡنِ وَتَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لَہٗۤ اَنۡدَادًا ۚ ذٰلِکَ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة حٰمٓ السجدہ
41:10 Say: Do you really disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two days? And do you set up equals to Him? That is the Lord of the worlds. قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّکَانَتِ امۡرَاَتِیۡ عَاقِرًا وَّقَدۡ بَلَغۡتُ مِنَ الۡکِبَرِ عِتِیًّا سورة مَریَم
19:9 He said, My Lord, how shall I have a son when my wife is barren and I have reached the extreme limit of old age? اِذۡ قَالَتِ امۡرَاَتُ عِمۡرٰنَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ نَذَرۡتُ لَکَ مَا فِیۡ بَطۡنِیۡ مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلۡ مِنِّیۡۤ ۖ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ السَّمِیۡعُ الۡعَلِیۡمُ سورة آل عِمرَان
3:36 Remember when the woman of Imran said, My Lord, I have vowed to you what is in my womb to be dedicated to your service. So do accept it of me; verily, you alone art All-Hearing, All-Knowing. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡۤ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ اَنۡ اَسۡـَٔلَکَ مَا لَیۡسَ لِیۡ بِہٖ عِلۡمٌ ۖ وَّاِلَّا تَغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَتَرۡحَمۡنِیۡۤ اَکُنۡ مِّنَ الۡخٰسِرِیۡنَ سورة هُود
11:48 He said: My Lord, I beg you to protect me from asking you that whereof I have no knowledge. And unless you forgive me and have mercy on me, I shall be among the losers. لَئِنۡۢ بَسَطتَّ اِلَیَّ یَدَکَ لِتَقۡتُلَنِیۡ مَاۤ اَنَا۠ بِبَاسِطٍ یَّدِیَ اِلَیۡکَ لِاَقۡتُلَکَ ۖ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اللّٰہَ رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة المَائدة
5:29If you stretch out your hand against me to kill me, I am not going to stretch out my hand against you to kill you. I do fear Allah, the Lord of the universe. فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَقُلۡ حَسۡبِیَ اللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ ۖ عَلَیۡہِ تَوَکَّلۡتُ ۖ وَہُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ سورة التّوبَة
9:129 But if they turn away, say, Allah is sufficient for me. There is no God but He. In Him do I put my trust, and He is the Lord of the mighty Throne. فَلَمَّاۤ اَتٰٮہَا نُوۡدِیَ مِنۡ شٰطِئِ الۡوَادِ الۡاَیۡمَنِ فِی الۡبُقۡعَۃِ الۡمُبٰرَکَۃِ مِنَ الشَّجَرَۃِ اَنۡ یّٰمُوۡسٰۤی اِنِّیۡۤ اَنَا اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة القَصَص
28:31 And when he came to it, he was called by a voice from the right side of the Valley, in the blessed spot, out of the tree: O Moses, verily I am, I am Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَرَبَطۡنَا عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ اِذۡ قَامُوۡا فَقَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ لَنۡ نَّدۡعُوَا۠ مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اِلٰہًا ۖ لَّقَدۡ قُلۡنَاۤ اِذًا شَطَطًا سورة الکهف
18:15 And We strengthened their hearts, when they stood up and said, Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Never shall we call upon any god beside Him; if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity. وَتَرَی الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃَ حَآفِّیۡنَ مِنۡ حَوۡلِ الۡعَرۡشِ یُسَبِّحُوۡنَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّہِمۡ ۖ وَقُضِیَ بَیۡنَہُمۡ بِالۡحَقِّ وَقِیۡلَ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الزُّمَر
39:76 And you wilt see the angels going round the Throne, glorifying their Lord with His praise. And it will be judged between them with justice. And it will be said: All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds فَسَقٰی لَہُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلّٰۤی اِلَی الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ لِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡتَ اِلَیَّ مِنۡ خَیۡرٍ فَقِیۡرٌ سورة القَصَص
28:25 So he watered their flocks for them. Then he turned aside into the shade, and said, My Lord, I am in need of whatever good you mayest send down to me وَلَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوۡسٰی بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤ اِلٰی فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَا۠ئِہٖ فَقَالَ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الزّخرُف
43:47 And We did send Moses with Our Signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs, and he said, I am truly a Messenger of the Lord of the worlds اِنَّمَاۤ اُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَعۡبُدَ رَبَّ ہٰذِہِ الۡبَلۡدَۃِ الَّذِیۡ حَرَّمَہَا وَلَہٗ کُلُّ شَیۡءٍ ۖ وَّاُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل
27:92 Say, I am commanded only to serve the Lord of this city which He has made sacred, and to Him belong all things; and I am commanded to be of those who submit to God;
قَالَ رَبِّ اجۡعَل لِّیۡۤ اٰیَۃً ۖ قَالَ اٰیَتُکَ اَلَّا تُکَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَۃَ اَیَّامٍ اِلَّا رَمۡزًا ۗ وَاذۡکُر رَّبَّکَ کَثِیۡرًا وَّسَبِّحۡ بِالۡعَشِیِّ وَالۡاِبۡکٰرِ سورة آل عِمرَان3:42 He said, My Lord, appoint a token for me He replied, your token shall be that you shall not speak to men for three days except by signs. And remember your Lord much and glorify Him in the evening and in the early morning قَالَ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ ہٰٓؤُلَآءِ اِلَّا رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ بَصَآئِرَ وَاِنِّیۡ لَاَظُنُّکَ یٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ مَثۡبُوۡرًا سورة بنی اسرائیل
17:103 He said, you knowest well that none has sent down these Signs but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as so many evidences; and I certainly think you, O Pharaoh, to be a ruined man رَبِّ قَدۡ اٰتَیۡتَنِیۡ مِنَ الۡمُلۡکِ وَعَلَّمۡتَنِیۡ مِنۡ تَاۡوِیۡلِ الۡاَحَادِیۡثِ ۚ فَاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ اَنۡتَ وَلِیّٖ فِی الدُّنۡیَا وَالۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِیۡ مُسۡلِمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِیۡ بِالصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة یُوسُف
12:1023 O my Lord, you hast bestowed power upon me and taught me the interpretation of dreams. O Maker of the heavens and the earth, you art my Protector in this world and the Hereafter. Let death come to me in a state of submission to your will and join me to the righteous وَمَا کَانَ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنُ اَنۡ یُّفۡتَرٰی مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَلٰکِنۡ تَصۡدِیۡقَ الَّذِیۡ بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡہِ وَتَفۡصِیۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ مِنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة یُونس
10:385 And this Quran is not such as might be devised by any one except Allah. On the contrary, it fulfils that which is before it and is an exposition of the Law of God. There is no doubt about it. It is from the Lord of the worlds. وَاَنۡفِقُوۡا مِنۡ مَّا رَزَقۡنٰکُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ یَّاۡتِیَ اَحَدَکُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ فَیَقُوۡلَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَاۤ اَخَّرۡتَنِیۡۤ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ قَرِیۡبٍ فَاَصَّدَّقَ وَاَکُنۡ مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة المنَافِقون
63:11 And spend out of that with which We have provided you before death comes upon one of you and he says, My Lord! if only you wouldst grant me respite for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous قَالَ رَبِّ السِّجۡنُ اَحَبُّ اِلَیَّ مِمَّا یَدۡعُوۡنَنِیۡۤ اِلَیۡہِ ۖ وَاِلَّا تَصۡرِفۡ عَنِّیۡ کَیۡدَہُنَّ اَصۡبُ اِلَیۡہِنَّ وَاَکُنۡ مِّنَ الۡجٰہِلِیۡنَ سورة یُوسُف
12:346 He said, O my Lord, I would prefer prison to that to which they invite me; and unless you turn away their guile from me I shall incline towards them and be of the ignorant فَتَعٰلَی اللّٰہُ الۡمَلِکُ الۡحَقُّ ۗ وَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ بِالۡقُرۡاٰنِ مِنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ یُّقۡضٰۤی اِلَیۡکَ وَحۡیُہٗ ۖ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدۡنِیۡ عِلۡمًا سورة طٰه
20:115 Exalted then is Allah, the True King! And be not impatient for the Quran ere its revelation is completed unto you, but only say, O my Lord, increase me in knowledge فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتۡہَا قَالَتۡ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ وَضَعۡتُہَاۤ اُنۡثٰی وَاللّٰہُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتۡ وَلَیۡسَ الذَّکَرُ کَالۡاُنۡثٰی ۖ وَاِنِّیۡ سَمَّیۡتُہَا مَرۡیَمَ وَاِنِّیۡۤ اُعِیۡذُہَا بِکَ وَذُرِّیَّتَہَا مِنَ الشَّیۡطٰنِ الرَّجِیۡمِ سورة آل عِمرَان
3:37 But when she was delivered of it, she said, My Lord, I am delivered of a female — and Allah knew best what she had brought forth and the male she was thinking of was not like the female she had brought forth — and I have named her Mary, and I commit her and her offspring to your protection from Satan, the rejected وَضَرَبَ اللّٰہُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا امۡرَاَتَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ اِذۡ قَالَتۡ رَبِّ ابۡنِ لِیۡ عِنۡدَکَ بَیۡتًا فِی الۡجَنَّۃِ وَنَجِّنِیۡ مِنۡ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَعَمَلِہٖ وَنَجِّنِیۡ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ سورة التّحْریم
66:12 And Allah sets forth for those who believe the example of the wife of Pharaoh when she said, My Lord! build for me a house with you in the Garden; and deliver me from Pharaoh and his work, and deliver me from the wrongdoing people; قَالَتۡ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡ وَلَدٌ وَّلَمۡ یَمۡسَسۡنِیۡ بَشَرٌ ۖ قَالَ کَذٰلِکِ اللّٰہُ یَخۡلُقُ مَا یَشَآءُ ۚ اِذَا قَضٰۤی اَمۡرًا فَاِنَّمَا یَقُوۡلُ لَہٗ کُنۡ فَیَکُوۡنُ سورة آل عِمرَان3: She said, My Lord, how shall I have a son, when no man has touched me? He said, “Such is the way of Allah, He creates what He pleases. When He decrees a thing, He says to it, Be! and it is. قُلۡ اَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ اَبۡغِیۡ رَبًّا وَّہُوَ رَبُّ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ ۚ وَلَا تَکۡسِبُ کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ اِلَّا عَلَیۡہَا ۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَۃٌ وِّزۡرَ اُخۡرٰی ۚ ثُمَّ اِلٰی رَبِّکُمۡ مَّرۡجِعُکُمۡ فَیُنَبِّئُکُمۡ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡہِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ سورة الاٴنعَام
6:165 Say, Shall I seek a lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of all things? And no soul acts but only against itself; nor does any bearer of burden bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord will be your return, and He will inform you of that wherein you used to differ. فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِکًا مِّنۡ قَوۡلِہَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡکُرَ نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلٰی وٰلِدَیَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صٰلِحًا تَرۡضٰٮہُ وَاَدۡخِلۡنِیۡ بِرَحۡمَتِکَ فِیۡ عِبَادِکَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل
27:20 Thereupon he smiled, laughing at her words, and said, My Lord, grant me the will and power to be grateful for your favour which you hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do such good works as would please you, and admit me, by your mercy, among your righteous servants وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہٖمُ رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡ ہٰذَا بَلَدًا اٰمِنًا وَّارۡزُقۡ اَہۡلَہٗ مِنَ الثَّمَرٰتِ مَنۡ اٰمَنَ مِنۡہُمۡ بِاللّٰہِ وَالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَنۡ کَفَرَ فَاُمَتِّعُہٗ قَلِیۡلًا ثُمَّ اَضۡطَرُّہٗۤ اِلٰی عَذَابِ النَّارِ ۖ وَبِئۡسَ الۡمَصِیۡرُ سورة البَقَرَة
2:127 And remember when Abraham said, My Lord, make this a town of peace and provide with fruits such of its dwellers as believe in Allah and the Last Day, He said, And on him too who believes not will I bestow benefits for a little while; then will I drive him to the punishment of the Fire, and an evil destination it is وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہٖمُ رَبِّ اَرِنِیۡ کَیۡفَ تُحۡیِ الۡمَوۡتٰی ۖ قَالَ اَوَلَمۡ تُؤۡمِنۡ ۖ قَالَ بَلٰی وَلٰکِنۡ لِّیَطۡمَئِنَّ قَلۡبِیۡ ۖ قَالَ فَخُذۡ اَرۡبَعَۃً مِّنَ الطَّیۡرِ فَصُرۡہُنَّ اِلَیۡکَ ثُمَّ اجۡعَلۡ عَلٰی کُلِّ جَبَلٍ مِّنۡہُنَّ جُزۡءًا ثُمَّ ادۡعُہُنَّ یَاۡتِیۡنَکَ سَعۡیًا ۚ وَاعۡلَمۡ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ عَزِیۡزٌ حَکِیۡمٌ سورة البَقَرَة
2:261 And remember when Abraham said, My Lord, show me how you give life to the dead He said, Hast you not believed? He said, Yes, but I ask this that my heart may be at rest He answered, Take four birds and make them attached to yourself. Then put each of them on a hill; then call them; they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is Mighty, Wise وَاخۡتَارَ مُوۡسٰی قَوۡمَہٗ سَبۡعِیۡنَ رَجُلًا لِّمِیۡقٰتِنَا ۖ فَلَمَّاۤ اَخَذَتۡہُمُ الرَّجۡفَۃُ قَالَ رَبِّ لَوۡ شِئۡتَ اَہۡلَکۡتَہُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلُ وَاِیّٰیَ ۖ اَتُہۡلِکُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ السُّفَہَآءُ مِنَّاۤ ۖ اِنۡ ہِیَ اِلَّا فِتۡنَتُکَ تُضِلُّ بِہَا مَنۡ تَشَآءُ وَتَہۡدِیۡ مَنۡ تَشَآءُ ۖ اَنۡتَ وَلِیُّنَا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا ۖ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡغٰفِرِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:156 And Moses chose of his people seventy men for Our appointment. But when the earthquake overtook them, he said, My Lord, if you had pleased, you could have destroyed them before this, and me also. Wilt you destroy us for that which the foolish among us have done? This is nothing but a trial from you. You cause to perish thereby whom you please and you guide whom you please. you art our Protector; forgive us then and have mercy on us, for you art the Best of those who forgive. وَوَصَّیۡنَا الۡاِنۡسٰنَ بِوٰلِدَیۡہِ اِحۡسٰنًا ۖ حَمَلَتۡہُ اُمُّہٗ کُرۡہًا وَّوَضَعَتۡہُ کُرۡہًا ۖ وَّحَمۡلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰثُوۡنَ شَہۡرًا ۚ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا بَلَغَ اَشُدَّہٗ وَبَلَغَ اَرۡبَعِیۡنَ سَنَۃً قَالَ رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡکُرَ نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلٰی وٰلِدَیَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صٰلِحًا تَرۡضٰٮہُ وَاَصۡلِحۡ لِیۡ فِیۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡۤ ۖ اِنِّیۡ تُبۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ وَاِنِّیۡ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴحقاف
46:16 And We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents. His mother bears him with pain, and brings him forth with pain. And the bearing of him and his weaning takes thirty months, till, when he attains his full maturity and reaches the age of forty years, he says, My Lord, grant me the power that I may be grateful for your favour which you hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do such good works as may please you. And make my seed righteous for me. I do turn to you; and, truly, I am of those who submit to you اِنَّ رَبَّکُمُ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ سِتَّۃِ اَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰی عَلَی الۡعَرۡشِ یُغۡشِی الَّیۡلَ النَّہَارَ یَطۡلُبُہٗ حَثِیۡثًا وَّالشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُوۡمَ مُسَخَّرٰتٍۭ بِاَمۡرِہٖۤ ۗ اَلَا لَہُ الۡخَلۡقُ وَالۡاَمۡرُ ۗ تَبَارَکَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:55 Surely, your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods; then He settled Himself on the Throne. He makes the night cover the day, which pursues it swiftly. And He created the sun and the moon and the stars, all made subservient by His command. Verily, His is the creation and the command. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَلَمَّا جَآءَ مُوۡسٰی لِمِیۡقٰتِنَا وَکَلَّمَہٗ رَبُّہٗ قَالَ رَبِّ اَرِنِیۡۤ اَنۡظُرۡ اِلَیۡکَ ۚ قَالَ لَنۡ تَرٰٮنِیۡ وَلٰکِنِ انۡظُرۡ اِلَی الۡجَبَلِ فَاِنِ اسۡتَقَرَّ مَکَانَہٗ فَسَوۡفَ تَرٰٮنِیۡ ۚ فَلَمَّا تَجَلّٰی رَبُّہٗ لِلۡجَبَلِ جَعَلَہٗ دَکًّا وَّخَرَّ مُوۡسٰی صَعِقًا ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبۡحٰنَکَ تُبۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ وَاَنَا۠ اَوَّلُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:144 And when Moses came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, My Lord, show yourself to me that I may look at you He replied, you shall not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it remains in its place, then shall you see Me And when his Lord manifested Himself on the mountain, He broke it into pieces and Moses fell down unconscious. And when he recovered, he said, Holy art you, I turn towards you, and I am the first to believe قُلۡ مَنۡ رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ قُلِ اللّٰہُ ۚ قُلۡ اَفَاتَّخَذۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اَوۡلِیَآءَ لَا یَمۡلِکُوۡنَ لِاَنۡفُسِہِمۡ نَفۡعًا وَّلَا ضَرًّا ۚ قُلۡ ہَلۡ یَسۡتَوِی الۡاَعۡمٰی وَالۡبَصِیۡرُ اَمۡ ہَلۡ تَسۡتَوِی الظُّلُمٰتُ وَالنُّوۡرُ ۗ اَمۡ جَعَلُوۡا لِلّٰہِ شُرَکَآءَ خَلَقُوۡا کَخَلۡقِہٖ فَتَشٰبَہَ الۡخَلۡقُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۚ قُلِ اللّٰہُ خٰلِقُ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ وَّہُوَ الۡوٰحِدُ الۡقَہّٰرُ سورة الرّعد
13:17 Say, Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth? Say, Allah Say, Have you then taken beside Him helpers who have no power for good or harm even for themselves? Say, Can the blind and the seeing be equal? Or, can darkness be equal to light? Or, do they assign to Allah partners who have created the like of His creation so that the two creations appear similar to them? Say, Allah alone is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Most Supreme
فَلِلّٰہِ الۡحَمۡدُ رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَرَبِّ الۡاَرۡضِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الجَاثیَة45:37
All praise, then, belongs to Allah, Lord of the heavens, and Lord of the earth, the Lord of all the worlds.
قَالَ رَبِّ انۡصُرۡنِیۡ عَلَی الۡقَوۡمِ الۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ سورة العَنکبوت
29:31 He said, Help me, my Lord, against the wicked people.
سُبۡحٰنَ رَبِّکَ رَبِّ الۡعِزَّۃِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الصَّافات37:181
Holy is your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power, far above that which they assert.
قَالَ رَبِّ انۡصُرۡنِیۡ بِمَا کَذَّبُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون
23:27 He said, O my Lord, help me, for they have treated me as a liar.
رَبِّ مُوۡسٰی وَہٰرُوۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:49
The Lord of Moses, and of Aaron.
وَالۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الصَّافات
37:183 And all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
سُبۡحٰنَ رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ رَبِّ الۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الزّخرُف
43:83 Holy is Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, and He is free from all that which they attribute to Him.
قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنۡظِرۡنِیۡۤ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ سورة الحِجر
15:37 He said, My Lord, then grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised.
حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءَ اَحَدَہُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارۡجِعُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون
23:100 Until, when death comes to one of them, he says entreating, My Lord, send me back,
قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَا رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:24 Pharaoh said, And what is the Lord of the worlds? اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الفَاتِحَة
1:2 All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,
وَاَنَّہٗ ہُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعۡرٰی سورة النّجْم
53:50 And that He is the Lord of Sirius;
تَنۡزِیۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الحَاقَّة69:44
It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقَیۡنِ وَرَبُّ الۡمَغۡرِبَیۡنِ سورة الرَّحمٰن55:18
The Lord of the two Easts and the Lord of the two Wests!
رَبِّ نَجِّنِیۡ وَاَہۡلِیۡ مِمَّا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:170
My Lord, save me and my family from what they do.
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ قَوۡمِیۡ کَذَّبُوۡنِ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:118
He said, My Lord, my people have treated me as a liar.
فَلۡیَعۡبُدُوۡا رَبَّ ہٰذَا الۡبَیۡتِ سورة القُرَیش
106:4 They should serve the Lord of this House,
رَبِّ فَلَا تَجۡعَلۡنِیۡ فِی الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمنون
23:95 My Lord, then place me not with the wrongdoing people.
قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنۡظِرۡنِیۡۤ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ سورة صٓ
38:80 He said, My Lord, then grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised.
قُل رَّبِّ اِمَّا تُرِیَنِّیۡ مَا یُوۡعَدُوۡنَ سورة المؤمنون
23:94 Say, My Lord, if you wilt show me that with which they are threatened.
رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ حُکۡمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِیۡ بِالصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:84
My Lord, bestow wisdom on me and join me with the righteous;
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اَنۡ یُّکَذِّبُوۡنِ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:13
He said, My Lord, I fear that they will treat me as a liar;
رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا الۡعَزِیۡزُ الۡغَفّٰرُ سورة صٓ38:67
The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between the two, the Mighty, the Great Forgiver.
فَاِنَّہُمۡ عَدُوٌّ لِّیۡۤ اِلَّا رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:78
They are all enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds;
یَرِثُنِیۡ وَیَرِثُ مِنۡ اٰلِ یَعۡقُوۡبَ ۖ وَاجۡعَلۡہُ رَبِّ رَضِیًّا سورة مَریَم
19:7 That he may be heir to me and to the House of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, well-pleasing to you.
رَبِّ مُوۡسٰی وَہٰرُوۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف7:123
The Lord of Moses and Aaron.
قَالَ رَبِّ اشۡرَحۡ لِیۡ صَدۡرِیۡ سورة طٰه
20:26 Moses said, My Lord, open out for me my breast, قَالَ رَبِّ انۡصُرۡنِیۡ بِمَا کَذَّبُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون
23:40 He said, My Lord, help me, for they have treated me as a liar.
سَلٰمٌ قَوۡلًا مِّنۡ رَّبٍّ رَّحِیۡمٍ سورة یسٓ
36:59 Peace on you a word of greeting from the Merciful Lord.
قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرۡتَنِیۡۤ اَعۡمٰی وَقَدۡ کُنۡتُ بَصِیۡرًا سورة طٰه20:126
He will say, My Lord, why hast you raised me up blind, while I possessed sight before?
وَقُل رَّبِّ اَنۡزِلۡنِیۡ مُنۡزَلًا مُّبَارَکًا وَّاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡمُنۡزِلِیۡنَ سورة المؤمنون
23:30 And say, My Lord, cause me to land a blessed landing, for you art the Best of those who bring men to land.
تَنۡزِیۡلُ الۡکِتٰبِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ مِنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة السَّجدَة
32:3 The revelation of the Book there is no doubt about it is from the Lord of the worlds.
وَقُل رَّبِّ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ مِنۡ ہَمَزٰتِ الشَّیٰطِیۡنِ سورة المؤمنون23:98
And say, My Lord, I seek refuge in you from the incitements of the evil ones.
رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا وَرَبُّ الۡمَشٰرِقِ سورة الصَّافات
37:6 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them and the Lord of the suns risings.
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ قَتَلۡتُ مِنۡہُمۡ نَفۡسًا فَاَخَافُ اَنۡ یَّقۡتُلُوۡنِ سورة القَصَص28:34
He said, My Lord, I killed a person from among them, and I fear that they will kill me.
وَقُل رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ وَارۡحَمۡ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمنون
23:119 And say, My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and you art the Best of those who show mercy.
قُلۡ اِنَّ صَلَاتِیۡ وَنُسُکِیۡ وَمَحۡیَایَ وَمَمَاتِیۡ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنعَام6:163
Say, My Prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
وَاِنَّہٗ لَتَنۡزِیۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:193 And verily this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
تَنۡزِیۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الواقِعَة
56:81 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
قَالَ رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقِ وَالۡمَغۡرِبِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَاۤ ۖ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:29 Moses said, The Lord of the East and of the West, and of all that is between the two, if you did but understand.
رَّبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقِ وَالۡمَغۡرِبِ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ فَاتَّخِذۡہُ وَکِیۡلًا سورة المُزمّل73:10
He is the Lord of the East and the West; there is no God but He; so take Him as your Guardian.
وَقَالَ مُوۡسٰی یٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:105 And Moses said, O Pharaoh, truly, I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds.
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِیۡ لَیۡلًا وَّنَہَارًا سورة نُوح71:6
He said, My Lord, I have called my people night and day,
اَللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ سورة النَّمل27:27
Allah! there is no God but He, the Lord of the Mighty Throne. رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَاۤ ۖ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّوۡقِنِیۡنَ سورة الدّخان44:8
The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you would only have faith.
فَخَرَجَ مِنۡہَا خَآئِفًا یَّتَرَقَّبُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِیۡ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ سورة القَصَص
28:22 So he went forth therefrom, fearing, watchful. He said, My Lord, deliver me from the unjust people.
قَالَ یٰقَوۡمِ لَیۡسَ بِیۡ سَفَاہَۃٌ وَّلٰکِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف7:68
He replied, O my people, there is no foolishness in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds.
قٰلَ رَبِّ احۡکُمۡ بِالۡحَقِّ ۗ وَرَبُّنَا الرَّحۡمٰنُ الۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلٰی مَا تَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء21:113
He also said, My Lord, judge you with truth. Our Lord is the Gracious God Whose help is to be sought against that which you assert.
وَاَعُوۡذُ بِکَ رَبِّ اَنۡ یَّحۡضُرُوۡنِ سورة المؤمنون23:99 And I seek refuge in you, my Lord, lest they come near me.
رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة الصَّافات37:101
My Lord, grant me a righteous son.
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ وَہَنَ الۡعَظۡمُ مِنِّیۡ وَاشۡتَعَلَ الرَّاۡسُ شَیۡبًا وَّلَمۡ اَکُنۡۢ بِدُعَآئِکَ رَبِّ شَقِیًّا سورة مَریَم
19:5 He said, My Lord, the bones have indeed waxed feeble in me, and the head glistens with hoariness, but never, my Lord, have I been unblessed in my prayer to you.
رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡنِیۡ مُقِیۡمَ الصَّلٰوۃِ وَمِنۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ سورة إبراهیم
14:41 My Lord, make me observe Prayer, and my children too. Our Lord! bestow your grace on me and accept my prayer.
قَالَ ہُمۡ اُولَآءِ عَلٰۤی اَثَرِیۡ وَعَجِلۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ رَبِّ لِتَرۡضٰی سورة طٰه20:85
He said, They are closely following in my footsteps and I have hastened to you, my Lord, that you mightest be pleased.
وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء26:181
And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds.
فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الۡقَوۡمِ الَّذِیۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ۚ وَالۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنعَام
6:46 So the last remnant of the people who did wrong was cut off; and all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ فَلَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ ظَہِیۡرًا لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِیۡنَ سورة القَصَص28:18
He said, My Lord, because you hast bestowed favour upon me, I will never be a helper of the guilty.
قُلۡ مَنۡ رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ السَّبۡعِ وَرَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ سورة المؤمنون
23:87 Say, Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Great Throne?
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ اَغۡوَیۡتَنِیۡ لَاُزَیِّنَنَّ لَہُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَاُغۡوِیَنَّہُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ سورة الحِجر
15:40 He answered, My Lord, since you hast adjudged me as lost, I will surely make evil appear beautiful to them on the earth, and I will surely lead them all astray,
وَقَالَ نُوۡحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَی الۡاَرۡضِ مِنَ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ دَیَّارًا سورة نُوح
71:27 And Noah said, My Lord, leave not in the land a single one of the disbelievers;
وَاخۡفِضۡ لَہُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحۡمَۃِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ارۡحَمۡہُمَا کَمَا رَبَّیَانِیۡ صَغِیۡرًا سورة بنی اسرائیل17:25
And lower to them the wing of humility out of tenderness. And say, My Lord, have mercy on them even as they nourished me in my childhood.
رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا فَاعۡبُدۡہُ وَاصۡطَبِرۡ لِعِبٰدَتِہٖ ۚ ہَلۡ تَعۡلَمُ لَہٗ سَمِیًّا سورة مَریَم19:66
He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between the two. Serve Him, therefore, and be steadfast in His service. Dost you know any equal of His?
قَالَ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَاۤ ۖ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّوۡقِنِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:25 Moses said, The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between the two, if you would be convinced.
وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:146 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds.
قَالَ رَبِّ اجۡعَل لِّیۡۤ اٰیَۃً ۚ قَالَ اٰیَتُکَ اَلَّا تُکَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَ لَیَالٍ سَوِیًّا سورة مَریَم
19:11 He said, My Lord, appoint for me a token.God said, your token is that you shall not speak to anyone for three full days and nights.
قَالَ بَل رَّبُّکُمۡ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ الَّذِیۡ فَطَرَہُنَّ وَاَنَا۠ عَلٰی ذٰلِکُمۡ مِّنَ الشّٰہِدِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء21:57
He replied, Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, He Who made them; and I am one of those who bear witness to that.
قَالَ رَبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَلِاَخِیۡ وَاَدۡخِلۡنَا فِیۡ رَحۡمَتِکَ ۖ وَاَنۡتَ اَرۡحَمُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف7:152
He (Moses) said, My Lord, forgive me and my brother, and admit us to your mercy, and you art the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
فَتَعٰلَی اللّٰہُ الۡمَلِکُ الۡحَقُّ ۖ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡکَرِیۡمِ سورة المؤمنون
23:117 Exalted then be Allah, the True King. There is no God but He, the Lord of the Glorious Throne.
وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:110 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds.
فَاۡتِیَا فِرۡعَوۡنَ فَقُوۡلَاۤ اِنَّا رَسُوۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:17 So go to Pharaoh, and say, We are the Messengers of the Lord of the worlds,
رَّبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَہُمَا الرَّحۡمٰنِ ۖ لَا یَمۡلِکُوۡنَ مِنۡہُ خِطَابًا سورة النّبَإِ
78:38 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Gracious. They shall not have the power to address Him.
لَوۡ کَانَ فِیۡہِمَاۤ اٰلِہَۃٌ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ لَفَسَدَتَا ۚ فَسُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء
21:23 If there had been in them (the heavens and the earth) other gods beside Allah, then surely both would have gone to ruin. Glorified then be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, above what they attribute.
قَالَ یٰقَوۡمِ لَیۡسَ بِیۡ ضَلٰلَۃٌ وَّلٰکِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:62 He said, O my people, there is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds. وَزَکَرِیَّاۤ اِذۡ نَادٰی رَبَّہٗ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرۡنِیۡ فَرۡدًا وَّاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡوٰرِثِیۡنَ سورة الاٴنبیَاء
21:90 And remember Zachariah when he cried to his Lord, saying, My Lord, leave me not childless, and you art the Best of inheritors. وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:128 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. وَمَا تَشَآءُوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّشَآءَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة التّکویر
81:30 While you desire not a thing except that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, desires it. وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔلُکُمۡ عَلَیۡہِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ ۖ اِنۡ اَجۡرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الشُّعَرَاء
26:165 And I ask of you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. وَنَادٰی نُوۡحٌ رَّبَّہٗ فَقَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ ابۡنِیۡ مِنۡ اَہۡلِیۡ وَاِنَّ وَعۡدَکَ الۡحَقُّ وَاَنۡتَ اَحۡکَمُ الۡحٰکِمِیۡنَ سورة هُود
11:46 And Noah cried unto his Lord and said: My Lord, verily, my son is of my family, and surely, your promise is true, and you art the Most Just of judges. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ لَاۤ اَمۡلِکُ اِلَّا نَفۡسِیۡ وَاَخِیۡ ۖ فَافۡرُقۡ بَیۡنَنَا وَبَیۡنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الۡفٰسِقِیۡنَ سورة المَائدة
5:26He said, My Lord, I have power over none but myself and my brother; therefore make you a distinction between us and the rebellious people. قَالَ نُوۡحٌ رَّبِّ اِنَّہُمۡ عَصَوۡنِیۡ وَاتَّبَعُوۡا مَنۡ لَّمۡ یَزِدۡہُ مَالُہٗ وَوَلَدُہٗۤ اِلَّا خَسَارًا سورة نُوح
71:22 Noah said, My Lord, they have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children have only added to his ruin. رَبِّ اِنَّہُنَّ اَضۡلَلۡنَ کَثِیۡرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ ۖ فَمَنۡ تَبِعَنِیۡ فَاِنَّہٗ مِنِّیۡ ۖ وَمَنۡ عَصَانِیۡ فَاِنَّکَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ سورة إبراهیم
14:37 My Lord, they have indeed led astray many among mankind. So whoever follows me, he is certainly of me; and whoever disobeys me you art, surely, Most Forgiving, Merciful. قِیۡلَ لَہَا ادۡخُلِی الصَّرۡحَ ۖ فَلَمَّا رَاَتۡہُ حَسِبَتۡہُ لُجَّۃً وَّکَشَفَتۡ عَنۡ سَاقَیۡہَا ۚ قَالَ اِنَّہٗ صَرۡحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّنۡ قَوَارِیۡرَ ۗ قَالَتۡ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِیۡ وَاَسۡلَمۡتُ مَعَ سُلَیۡمٰنَ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل
27:45 It was said to her, Enter the palace. And when she saw it, she yought it to be a great expanse of water, and she uncovered her shanks. Solomon said, It is a palace paved smooth with slabs of glass. She said, My Lord, I indeed wronged my soul; and I submit myself with Solomon to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَقُل رَّبِّ اَدۡخِلۡنِیۡ مُدۡخَلَ صِدۡقٍ وَّاَخۡرِجۡنِیۡ مُخۡرَجَ صِدۡقٍ وَّاجۡعَل لِّیۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ سُلۡطٰنًا نَّصِیۡرًا سورة بنی اسرائیل
17:81 And say, O my Lord, make my entry a good entry and then make me come forth with a good forthcoming. And grant me from yourself a helping power. ہُوَ الۡحَیُّ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ فَادۡعُوۡہُ مُخۡلِصِیۡنَ لَہُ الدِّیۡنَ ۗ اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمن
40:66 He is the Living God. There is no God but He. So pray unto Him, being sincere to Him in deen. All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. دَعۡوٰٮہُمۡ فِیۡہَا سُبۡحٰنَکَ اللّٰہُمَّ وَتَحِیَّتُہُمۡ فِیۡہَا سَلٰمٌ ۚ وَاٰخِرُ دَعۡوٰٮہُمۡ اَنِ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة یُونس
10:11 Their prayer therein shall be, Glory be to you, O Allah! and their greeting therein shall be, Peace. And the conclusion of their prayer shall be, All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. فَلَمَّا جَآءَہَا نُوۡدِیَ اَنۡۢ بُوۡرِکَ مَنۡ فِی النَّارِ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَہَا وَسُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل
27:9 So when he came to it, he was called by a voice: Blessed is he who is in the fire and also those around it; and glorified be Allah, the Lord of the worlds. ہُنَالِکَ دَعَا زَکَرِیَّا رَبَّہٗ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ ذُرِّیَّۃً طَیِّبَۃً ۖ اِنَّکَ سَمِیۡعُ الدُّعَآءِ سورة آل عِمرَان
3:39There and then did Zachariah pray to his Lord, saying, My Lord, grant me from yourself pure offspring; surely, you art the Hearer of prayer. قَالَ رَبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَہَبۡ لِیۡ مُلۡکًا لَّا یَنۡۢبَغِیۡ لِاَحَدٍ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِیۡۤ ۖ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ الۡوَہَّابُ سورة صٓ
38:36 He said, O my Lord, grant me forgiveness and bestow on me a kingdom that will not suit anyone after me; surely you art the Great Bestower. قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّقَدۡ بَلَغَنِیَ الۡکِبَرُ وَامۡرَاَتِیۡ عَاقِرٌ ۖ قَالَ کَذٰلِکَ اللّٰہُ یَفۡعَلُ مَا یَشَآءُ سورة آل عِمرَان
3:41He said, My Lord, how shall I have a son, when age has overtaken me, and my wife is barren? He answered, Such is the way of Allah: He does what He pleases. کَمَثَلِ الشَّیۡطٰنِ اِذۡ قَالَ لِلۡاِنۡسٰنِ اکۡفُرۡ فَلَمَّا کَفَرَ قَالَ اِنِّیۡ بَرِیۡٓءٌ مِّنۡکَ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اللّٰہَ رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الحَشر
59:17 It is like that of Satan, when he says to man, Disbelieve; but when he disbelieves, he says, I have nothing to do with you; I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds. رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَلِوٰلِدَیَّ وَلِمَنۡ دَخَلَ بَیۡتِیَ مُؤۡمِنًا وَّلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ وَالۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ اِلَّا تَبَارًۢا سورة نُوح
71:29 My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and him who enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and the believing women; and increase you not the wrongdoers but in perdition. وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمُ رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡ ہٰذَا الۡبَلَدَ اٰمِنًا وَّاجۡنُبۡنِیۡ وَبَنِیَّ اَنۡ نَّعۡبُدَ الۡاَصۡنَامَ سورة إبراهیم
14:36 And remember when Abraham said, My Lord, make this city a city of peace, and keep me and my children away from serveping idols. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِیۡ فَاغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ فَغَفَرَ لَہٗۤ ۚ اِنَّہٗ ہُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِیۡمُ سورة القَصَص
28:17 He said, My Lord, I have wronged my soul, therefore forgive me. So He forgave him; He is Most Forgiving, Merciful. اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَ لَکُمُ الۡاَرۡضَ قَرَارًا وَّالسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءً وَّصَوَّرَکُمۡ فَاَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَکُمۡ وَرَزَقَکُمۡ مِّنَ الطَّیِّبٰتِ ۚ ذٰلِکُمُ اللّٰہُ رَبُّکُمۡ ۖ فَتَبَارَکَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة المؤمن
40:65 Allah it is Who has made for you the earth a resting-place, and the heaven a canopy, and has given you shape and made your shapes perfect, and has provided you with good things. Such is Allah, your Lord. So blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. قُلۡ اَئِنَّکُمۡ لَتَکۡفُرُوۡنَ بِالَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ الۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ یَوۡمَیۡنِ وَتَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لَہٗۤ اَنۡدَادًا ۚ ذٰلِکَ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة حٰمٓ السجدہ
41:10 Say: Do you really disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two days? And do you set up equals to Him? That is the Lord of the worlds. قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّکَانَتِ امۡرَاَتِیۡ عَاقِرًا وَّقَدۡ بَلَغۡتُ مِنَ الۡکِبَرِ عِتِیًّا سورة مَریَم
19:9 He said, My Lord, how shall I have a son when my wife is barren and I have reached the extreme limit of old age? اِذۡ قَالَتِ امۡرَاَتُ عِمۡرٰنَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ نَذَرۡتُ لَکَ مَا فِیۡ بَطۡنِیۡ مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلۡ مِنِّیۡۤ ۖ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ السَّمِیۡعُ الۡعَلِیۡمُ سورة آل عِمرَان
3:36 Remember when the woman of Imran said, My Lord, I have vowed to you what is in my womb to be dedicated to your service. So do accept it of me; verily, you alone art All-Hearing, All-Knowing. قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡۤ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ اَنۡ اَسۡـَٔلَکَ مَا لَیۡسَ لِیۡ بِہٖ عِلۡمٌ ۖ وَّاِلَّا تَغۡفِرۡ لِیۡ وَتَرۡحَمۡنِیۡۤ اَکُنۡ مِّنَ الۡخٰسِرِیۡنَ سورة هُود
11:48 He said: My Lord, I beg you to protect me from asking you that whereof I have no knowledge. And unless you forgive me and have mercy on me, I shall be among the losers. لَئِنۡۢ بَسَطتَّ اِلَیَّ یَدَکَ لِتَقۡتُلَنِیۡ مَاۤ اَنَا۠ بِبَاسِطٍ یَّدِیَ اِلَیۡکَ لِاَقۡتُلَکَ ۖ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اللّٰہَ رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة المَائدة
5:29If you stretch out your hand against me to kill me, I am not going to stretch out my hand against you to kill you. I do fear Allah, the Lord of the universe. فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَقُلۡ حَسۡبِیَ اللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ ۖ عَلَیۡہِ تَوَکَّلۡتُ ۖ وَہُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ سورة التّوبَة
9:129 But if they turn away, say, Allah is sufficient for me. There is no God but He. In Him do I put my trust, and He is the Lord of the mighty Throne. فَلَمَّاۤ اَتٰٮہَا نُوۡدِیَ مِنۡ شٰطِئِ الۡوَادِ الۡاَیۡمَنِ فِی الۡبُقۡعَۃِ الۡمُبٰرَکَۃِ مِنَ الشَّجَرَۃِ اَنۡ یّٰمُوۡسٰۤی اِنِّیۡۤ اَنَا اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة القَصَص
28:31 And when he came to it, he was called by a voice from the right side of the Valley, in the blessed spot, out of the tree: O Moses, verily I am, I am Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَرَبَطۡنَا عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ اِذۡ قَامُوۡا فَقَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ لَنۡ نَّدۡعُوَا۠ مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اِلٰہًا ۖ لَّقَدۡ قُلۡنَاۤ اِذًا شَطَطًا سورة الکهف
18:15 And We strengthened their hearts, when they stood up and said, Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Never shall we call upon any god beside Him; if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity. وَتَرَی الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃَ حَآفِّیۡنَ مِنۡ حَوۡلِ الۡعَرۡشِ یُسَبِّحُوۡنَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّہِمۡ ۖ وَقُضِیَ بَیۡنَہُمۡ بِالۡحَقِّ وَقِیۡلَ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الزُّمَر
39:76 And you wilt see the angels going round the Throne, glorifying their Lord with His praise. And it will be judged between them with justice. And it will be said: All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds فَسَقٰی لَہُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلّٰۤی اِلَی الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ لِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡتَ اِلَیَّ مِنۡ خَیۡرٍ فَقِیۡرٌ سورة القَصَص
28:25 So he watered their flocks for them. Then he turned aside into the shade, and said, My Lord, I am in need of whatever good you mayest send down to me وَلَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوۡسٰی بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤ اِلٰی فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَا۠ئِہٖ فَقَالَ اِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الزّخرُف
43:47 And We did send Moses with Our Signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs, and he said, I am truly a Messenger of the Lord of the worlds اِنَّمَاۤ اُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَعۡبُدَ رَبَّ ہٰذِہِ الۡبَلۡدَۃِ الَّذِیۡ حَرَّمَہَا وَلَہٗ کُلُّ شَیۡءٍ ۖ وَّاُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل
27:92 Say, I am commanded only to serve the Lord of this city which He has made sacred, and to Him belong all things; and I am commanded to be of those who submit to God;
قَالَ رَبِّ اجۡعَل لِّیۡۤ اٰیَۃً ۖ قَالَ اٰیَتُکَ اَلَّا تُکَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَۃَ اَیَّامٍ اِلَّا رَمۡزًا ۗ وَاذۡکُر رَّبَّکَ کَثِیۡرًا وَّسَبِّحۡ بِالۡعَشِیِّ وَالۡاِبۡکٰرِ سورة آل عِمرَان3:42 He said, My Lord, appoint a token for me He replied, your token shall be that you shall not speak to men for three days except by signs. And remember your Lord much and glorify Him in the evening and in the early morning قَالَ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ ہٰٓؤُلَآءِ اِلَّا رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ بَصَآئِرَ وَاِنِّیۡ لَاَظُنُّکَ یٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ مَثۡبُوۡرًا سورة بنی اسرائیل
17:103 He said, you knowest well that none has sent down these Signs but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as so many evidences; and I certainly think you, O Pharaoh, to be a ruined man رَبِّ قَدۡ اٰتَیۡتَنِیۡ مِنَ الۡمُلۡکِ وَعَلَّمۡتَنِیۡ مِنۡ تَاۡوِیۡلِ الۡاَحَادِیۡثِ ۚ فَاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ اَنۡتَ وَلِیّٖ فِی الدُّنۡیَا وَالۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِیۡ مُسۡلِمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِیۡ بِالصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة یُوسُف
12:1023 O my Lord, you hast bestowed power upon me and taught me the interpretation of dreams. O Maker of the heavens and the earth, you art my Protector in this world and the Hereafter. Let death come to me in a state of submission to your will and join me to the righteous وَمَا کَانَ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنُ اَنۡ یُّفۡتَرٰی مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَلٰکِنۡ تَصۡدِیۡقَ الَّذِیۡ بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡہِ وَتَفۡصِیۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ مِنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة یُونس
10:385 And this Quran is not such as might be devised by any one except Allah. On the contrary, it fulfils that which is before it and is an exposition of the Law of God. There is no doubt about it. It is from the Lord of the worlds. وَاَنۡفِقُوۡا مِنۡ مَّا رَزَقۡنٰکُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ یَّاۡتِیَ اَحَدَکُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ فَیَقُوۡلَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَاۤ اَخَّرۡتَنِیۡۤ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ قَرِیۡبٍ فَاَصَّدَّقَ وَاَکُنۡ مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة المنَافِقون
63:11 And spend out of that with which We have provided you before death comes upon one of you and he says, My Lord! if only you wouldst grant me respite for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous قَالَ رَبِّ السِّجۡنُ اَحَبُّ اِلَیَّ مِمَّا یَدۡعُوۡنَنِیۡۤ اِلَیۡہِ ۖ وَاِلَّا تَصۡرِفۡ عَنِّیۡ کَیۡدَہُنَّ اَصۡبُ اِلَیۡہِنَّ وَاَکُنۡ مِّنَ الۡجٰہِلِیۡنَ سورة یُوسُف
12:346 He said, O my Lord, I would prefer prison to that to which they invite me; and unless you turn away their guile from me I shall incline towards them and be of the ignorant فَتَعٰلَی اللّٰہُ الۡمَلِکُ الۡحَقُّ ۗ وَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ بِالۡقُرۡاٰنِ مِنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ یُّقۡضٰۤی اِلَیۡکَ وَحۡیُہٗ ۖ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدۡنِیۡ عِلۡمًا سورة طٰه
20:115 Exalted then is Allah, the True King! And be not impatient for the Quran ere its revelation is completed unto you, but only say, O my Lord, increase me in knowledge فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتۡہَا قَالَتۡ رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ وَضَعۡتُہَاۤ اُنۡثٰی وَاللّٰہُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتۡ وَلَیۡسَ الذَّکَرُ کَالۡاُنۡثٰی ۖ وَاِنِّیۡ سَمَّیۡتُہَا مَرۡیَمَ وَاِنِّیۡۤ اُعِیۡذُہَا بِکَ وَذُرِّیَّتَہَا مِنَ الشَّیۡطٰنِ الرَّجِیۡمِ سورة آل عِمرَان
3:37 But when she was delivered of it, she said, My Lord, I am delivered of a female — and Allah knew best what she had brought forth and the male she was thinking of was not like the female she had brought forth — and I have named her Mary, and I commit her and her offspring to your protection from Satan, the rejected وَضَرَبَ اللّٰہُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا امۡرَاَتَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ اِذۡ قَالَتۡ رَبِّ ابۡنِ لِیۡ عِنۡدَکَ بَیۡتًا فِی الۡجَنَّۃِ وَنَجِّنِیۡ مِنۡ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَعَمَلِہٖ وَنَجِّنِیۡ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ سورة التّحْریم
66:12 And Allah sets forth for those who believe the example of the wife of Pharaoh when she said, My Lord! build for me a house with you in the Garden; and deliver me from Pharaoh and his work, and deliver me from the wrongdoing people; قَالَتۡ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوۡنُ لِیۡ وَلَدٌ وَّلَمۡ یَمۡسَسۡنِیۡ بَشَرٌ ۖ قَالَ کَذٰلِکِ اللّٰہُ یَخۡلُقُ مَا یَشَآءُ ۚ اِذَا قَضٰۤی اَمۡرًا فَاِنَّمَا یَقُوۡلُ لَہٗ کُنۡ فَیَکُوۡنُ سورة آل عِمرَان3: She said, My Lord, how shall I have a son, when no man has touched me? He said, “Such is the way of Allah, He creates what He pleases. When He decrees a thing, He says to it, Be! and it is. قُلۡ اَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ اَبۡغِیۡ رَبًّا وَّہُوَ رَبُّ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ ۚ وَلَا تَکۡسِبُ کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ اِلَّا عَلَیۡہَا ۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَۃٌ وِّزۡرَ اُخۡرٰی ۚ ثُمَّ اِلٰی رَبِّکُمۡ مَّرۡجِعُکُمۡ فَیُنَبِّئُکُمۡ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡہِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ سورة الاٴنعَام
6:165 Say, Shall I seek a lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of all things? And no soul acts but only against itself; nor does any bearer of burden bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord will be your return, and He will inform you of that wherein you used to differ. فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِکًا مِّنۡ قَوۡلِہَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡکُرَ نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلٰی وٰلِدَیَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صٰلِحًا تَرۡضٰٮہُ وَاَدۡخِلۡنِیۡ بِرَحۡمَتِکَ فِیۡ عِبَادِکَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ سورة النَّمل
27:20 Thereupon he smiled, laughing at her words, and said, My Lord, grant me the will and power to be grateful for your favour which you hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do such good works as would please you, and admit me, by your mercy, among your righteous servants وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہٖمُ رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡ ہٰذَا بَلَدًا اٰمِنًا وَّارۡزُقۡ اَہۡلَہٗ مِنَ الثَّمَرٰتِ مَنۡ اٰمَنَ مِنۡہُمۡ بِاللّٰہِ وَالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَنۡ کَفَرَ فَاُمَتِّعُہٗ قَلِیۡلًا ثُمَّ اَضۡطَرُّہٗۤ اِلٰی عَذَابِ النَّارِ ۖ وَبِئۡسَ الۡمَصِیۡرُ سورة البَقَرَة
2:127 And remember when Abraham said, My Lord, make this a town of peace and provide with fruits such of its dwellers as believe in Allah and the Last Day, He said, And on him too who believes not will I bestow benefits for a little while; then will I drive him to the punishment of the Fire, and an evil destination it is وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہٖمُ رَبِّ اَرِنِیۡ کَیۡفَ تُحۡیِ الۡمَوۡتٰی ۖ قَالَ اَوَلَمۡ تُؤۡمِنۡ ۖ قَالَ بَلٰی وَلٰکِنۡ لِّیَطۡمَئِنَّ قَلۡبِیۡ ۖ قَالَ فَخُذۡ اَرۡبَعَۃً مِّنَ الطَّیۡرِ فَصُرۡہُنَّ اِلَیۡکَ ثُمَّ اجۡعَلۡ عَلٰی کُلِّ جَبَلٍ مِّنۡہُنَّ جُزۡءًا ثُمَّ ادۡعُہُنَّ یَاۡتِیۡنَکَ سَعۡیًا ۚ وَاعۡلَمۡ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ عَزِیۡزٌ حَکِیۡمٌ سورة البَقَرَة
2:261 And remember when Abraham said, My Lord, show me how you give life to the dead He said, Hast you not believed? He said, Yes, but I ask this that my heart may be at rest He answered, Take four birds and make them attached to yourself. Then put each of them on a hill; then call them; they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is Mighty, Wise وَاخۡتَارَ مُوۡسٰی قَوۡمَہٗ سَبۡعِیۡنَ رَجُلًا لِّمِیۡقٰتِنَا ۖ فَلَمَّاۤ اَخَذَتۡہُمُ الرَّجۡفَۃُ قَالَ رَبِّ لَوۡ شِئۡتَ اَہۡلَکۡتَہُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلُ وَاِیّٰیَ ۖ اَتُہۡلِکُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ السُّفَہَآءُ مِنَّاۤ ۖ اِنۡ ہِیَ اِلَّا فِتۡنَتُکَ تُضِلُّ بِہَا مَنۡ تَشَآءُ وَتَہۡدِیۡ مَنۡ تَشَآءُ ۖ اَنۡتَ وَلِیُّنَا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا ۖ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡغٰفِرِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:156 And Moses chose of his people seventy men for Our appointment. But when the earthquake overtook them, he said, My Lord, if you had pleased, you could have destroyed them before this, and me also. Wilt you destroy us for that which the foolish among us have done? This is nothing but a trial from you. You cause to perish thereby whom you please and you guide whom you please. you art our Protector; forgive us then and have mercy on us, for you art the Best of those who forgive. وَوَصَّیۡنَا الۡاِنۡسٰنَ بِوٰلِدَیۡہِ اِحۡسٰنًا ۖ حَمَلَتۡہُ اُمُّہٗ کُرۡہًا وَّوَضَعَتۡہُ کُرۡہًا ۖ وَّحَمۡلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰثُوۡنَ شَہۡرًا ۚ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا بَلَغَ اَشُدَّہٗ وَبَلَغَ اَرۡبَعِیۡنَ سَنَۃً قَالَ رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡکُرَ نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلٰی وٰلِدَیَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صٰلِحًا تَرۡضٰٮہُ وَاَصۡلِحۡ لِیۡ فِیۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡۤ ۖ اِنِّیۡ تُبۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ وَاِنِّیۡ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴحقاف
46:16 And We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents. His mother bears him with pain, and brings him forth with pain. And the bearing of him and his weaning takes thirty months, till, when he attains his full maturity and reaches the age of forty years, he says, My Lord, grant me the power that I may be grateful for your favour which you hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do such good works as may please you. And make my seed righteous for me. I do turn to you; and, truly, I am of those who submit to you اِنَّ رَبَّکُمُ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ سِتَّۃِ اَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰی عَلَی الۡعَرۡشِ یُغۡشِی الَّیۡلَ النَّہَارَ یَطۡلُبُہٗ حَثِیۡثًا وَّالشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُوۡمَ مُسَخَّرٰتٍۭ بِاَمۡرِہٖۤ ۗ اَلَا لَہُ الۡخَلۡقُ وَالۡاَمۡرُ ۗ تَبَارَکَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:55 Surely, your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods; then He settled Himself on the Throne. He makes the night cover the day, which pursues it swiftly. And He created the sun and the moon and the stars, all made subservient by His command. Verily, His is the creation and the command. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. وَلَمَّا جَآءَ مُوۡسٰی لِمِیۡقٰتِنَا وَکَلَّمَہٗ رَبُّہٗ قَالَ رَبِّ اَرِنِیۡۤ اَنۡظُرۡ اِلَیۡکَ ۚ قَالَ لَنۡ تَرٰٮنِیۡ وَلٰکِنِ انۡظُرۡ اِلَی الۡجَبَلِ فَاِنِ اسۡتَقَرَّ مَکَانَہٗ فَسَوۡفَ تَرٰٮنِیۡ ۚ فَلَمَّا تَجَلّٰی رَبُّہٗ لِلۡجَبَلِ جَعَلَہٗ دَکًّا وَّخَرَّ مُوۡسٰی صَعِقًا ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبۡحٰنَکَ تُبۡتُ اِلَیۡکَ وَاَنَا۠ اَوَّلُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ سورة الاٴعرَاف
7:144 And when Moses came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, My Lord, show yourself to me that I may look at you He replied, you shall not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it remains in its place, then shall you see Me And when his Lord manifested Himself on the mountain, He broke it into pieces and Moses fell down unconscious. And when he recovered, he said, Holy art you, I turn towards you, and I am the first to believe قُلۡ مَنۡ رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ قُلِ اللّٰہُ ۚ قُلۡ اَفَاتَّخَذۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اَوۡلِیَآءَ لَا یَمۡلِکُوۡنَ لِاَنۡفُسِہِمۡ نَفۡعًا وَّلَا ضَرًّا ۚ قُلۡ ہَلۡ یَسۡتَوِی الۡاَعۡمٰی وَالۡبَصِیۡرُ اَمۡ ہَلۡ تَسۡتَوِی الظُّلُمٰتُ وَالنُّوۡرُ ۗ اَمۡ جَعَلُوۡا لِلّٰہِ شُرَکَآءَ خَلَقُوۡا کَخَلۡقِہٖ فَتَشٰبَہَ الۡخَلۡقُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۚ قُلِ اللّٰہُ خٰلِقُ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ وَّہُوَ الۡوٰحِدُ الۡقَہّٰرُ سورة الرّعد
13:17 Say, Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth? Say, Allah Say, Have you then taken beside Him helpers who have no power for good or harm even for themselves? Say, Can the blind and the seeing be equal? Or, can darkness be equal to light? Or, do they assign to Allah partners who have created the like of His creation so that the two creations appear similar to them? Say, Allah alone is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Most Supreme
