Islam teaches the equality of men and women in their spiritual nature and in their accountability in the afterlife. However they have been endowed with different duties and rights in life in accordance with their roles, nature and propensities.
So we find the Qur'an states, "Whoever does right, male or female and is a believer, We will revivify with a good life; and We will pay them their due according to the best of what they have done" (Qur'an, 16:97).

She is one of the essential components of civilizational societies: its role can not be isolated or marginalized. It is the partner in men's decisions, one of the important reasons for which men determine their priorities and the importance of their role in developed societies in which they create equality between men and women. It is half the society: they form a man with this society and have a role in all areas of life, and began to intervene in all sectors of education, medical, industrial, and productivity. It is the most important factor in the process of education because of the long time it stays with the children while the father is at work, so the goodness or corruption of the children is primarily due to the mother's goodness and role in instilling good value and good morals in her children.

Equality between men and women in Islam The true Islam came to give women their rights, and to grant them many things that were previously denied them, such as their right to life and they were buried alive immediately after birth, and their right to inheritance, which was denied to them in favor of men in the past.
Between men and women in Islam through the following:
Equality in worship: God has imposed acts of worship on the Muslim men and women, women pray as a man pray, fasting as fast,
Equality in reward and punishment: The man before God as women in terms of reward or the occurrence of sin, and see this clearly within the limits of Islam, such as theft and adultery, women are hired to obey, and sin on sin, and no different from the man in that God.
Equality in public rights: the right to education, the exercise of work, and the freedom to act in the satisfaction of God Almighty. Equality between men and women as appropriate for them: Here Islam differed from other provisions of the status quo in favor of men and women.
