What does Qur'an mean that the Prophet and Muslims are witnesses to the truth to mankind?

We can take guidance only from the holy book, Quran and by following the footsteps of our beloved Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W. If we have any doubt in any thing or if we are not able to understand the preaching of any religious scholar then the only right and satisfied way for any muslim is to refer to the Holy Book and the sunnah of Holy Prophet SAW beacause they both brought truth to mankind.
