How often does the word deen (lifeway) appear in the Qur'an?

There are 43 verses containing the word deen in the Qur'an:

 لَکُمۡ دِیۡنُکُمۡ وَلِیَ دِیۡنِ  سورة الکافِرون109:7 For you your religion, and for me my religion.

 وَرَاَیۡتَ النَّاسَ یَدۡخُلُوۡنَ فِیۡ دِیۡنِ اللّٰہِ اَفۡوَاجًا  سورة النّصر110:3  And you see men entering the religion of Allah in troops,

 وَمَاۤ اُمِرُوۡۤا اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوا اللّٰہَ مُخۡلِصِیۡنَ لَہُ الدِّیۡنَ حُنَفَآءَ وَیُقِیۡمُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَیُؤۡتُوا الزَّکٰوۃَ ۚ وَذٰلِکَ دِیۡنُ الۡقَیِّمَۃِ  سورة البَیّنَة98:6  And they were not commanded but to serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, and being upright, and to observe Prayer, and pay the Zakat. And that is the religion of the people of the right path.

 اَفَغَیۡرَ دِیۡنِ اللّٰہِ یَبۡغُوۡنَ وَلَہٗۤ اَسۡلَمَ مَنۡ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ طَوۡعًا وَّکَرۡہًا وَّاِلَیۡہِ یُرۡجَعُوۡنَ  سورة آل عِمرَان3:84  Do they seek a religion other than Allahs, while to Him submits whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him shall they be returned?

 اَلزَّانِیَۃُ وَالزَّانِیۡ فَاجۡلِدُوۡا کُلَّ وٰحِدٍ مِّنۡہُمَا مِائَۃَ جَلۡدَۃٍ ۖ وَّلَا تَاۡخُذۡکُمۡ بِہِمَا رَاۡفَۃٌ فِیۡ دِیۡنِ اللّٰہِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ ۖ وَلۡیَشۡہَدۡ عَذَابَہُمَا طَآئِفَۃٌ مِّنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ  سورة النُّور24:3  The adulteress and the adulterer, flog each one of them with a hundred stripes. And let not pity for the twain take hold of you in executing the judgment of Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment.

 قٰتِلُوا الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَلَا بِالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَلَا یُحَرِّمُوۡنَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّٰہُ وَرَسُوۡلُہٗ وَلَا یَدِیۡنُوۡنَ دِیۡنَ الۡحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ حَتّٰی یُعۡطُوا الۡجِزۡیَۃَ عَنۡ یَّدٍ وَّہُمۡ صٰغِرُوۡنَ  سورة التّوبَة9:29  Fight those from among the People of the Book who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor hold as unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have declared to be unlawful, nor follow the true religion, until they pay the tax with their own hand and acknowledge their subjection.

 کَلَّا بَلۡ تُکَذِّبُوۡنَ بِالدِّیۡنِ  سورة الانفِطار82:10  Nay, but you deny the Judgment.

 فَبَدَاَ بِاَوۡعِیَتِہِمۡ قَبۡلَ وِعَآءِ اَخِیۡہِ ثُمَّ اسۡتَخۡرَجَہَا مِنۡ وِّعَآءِ اَخِیۡہِ ۚ کَذٰلِکَ کِدۡنَا لِیُوۡسُفَ ۖ مَا کَانَ لِیَاۡخُذَ اَخَاہُ فِیۡ دِیۡنِ الۡمَلِکِ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّشَآءَ اللّٰہُ ۚ نَرۡفَعُ دَرَجٰتٍ مَّنۡ نَّشَآءُ ۗ وَفَوۡقَ کُلِّ ذِیۡ عِلۡمٍ عَلِیۡمٌ  سورة یُوسُف12:77  Then he began the search with their sacks before the sack of his brother; then he took it out from his brothers sack. Thus did We plan for Joseph. He could not have taken his brother under the Kings law unless Allah had so willed. We raise in degrees of rank whomsoever We please; and over every possessor of knowledge is One, Most-Knowing.

 فَمَا یُکَذِّبُکَ بَعۡدُ بِالدِّیۡنِ  سورة التِّین95:8  Then what is there to give the lie to you after this with regard to the Judgment?

 اَرَءَیۡتَ الَّذِیۡ یُکَذِّبُ بِالدِّیۡنِ  سورة المَاعون107:2  Hast you seen him who rejects religion?

 ۞ وَلَکُمۡ نِصۡفُ مَا تَرَکَ اَزۡوٰجُکُمۡ اِنۡ لَّمۡ یَکُنۡ لَّہُنَّ وَلَدٌ ۚ فَاِنۡ کَانَ لَہُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَلَکُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَکۡنَ ۚ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ وَصِیَّۃٍ یُّوۡصِیۡنَ بِہَاۤ اَوۡ دَیۡنٍ ۚ وَلَہُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَکۡتُمۡ اِنۡ لَّمۡ یَکُنۡ لَّکُمۡ وَلَدٌ ۚ فَاِنۡ کَانَ لَکُمۡ وَلَدٌ فَلَہُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَکۡتُمۡ ۚ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ وَصِیَّۃٍ تُوۡصُوۡنَ بِہَاۤ اَوۡ دَیۡنٍ ۗ وَاِنۡ کَانَ رَجُلٌ یُّوۡرَثُ کَلٰلَۃً اَوِ امۡرَاَۃٌ وَّلَہٗۤ اَخٌ اَوۡ اُخۡتٌ فَلِکُلِّ وٰحِدٍ مِّنۡہُمَا السُّدُسُ ۚ فَاِنۡ کَانُوۡۤا اَکۡثَرَ مِنۡ ذٰلِکَ فَہُمۡ شُرَکَآءُ فِی الثُّلُثِ ۚ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ وَصِیَّۃٍ یُّوۡصٰی بِہَاۤ اَوۡ دَیۡنٍ غَیۡرَ مُضَآرٍّ ۚ وَصِیَّۃً مِّنَ اللّٰہِ ۗ وَاللّٰہُ عَلِیۡمٌ حَلِیۡمٌ  سورة النِّسَاء4:13  And you shall have half of that which your wives leave, if they have no child; but if they have a child, then you shall have a fourth of that which they leave, after the payment of any bequests they may have bequeathed or of debt. And they shall have a fourth of that which you leave, if you have no child; but if you have a child, then they shall have an eighth of that which you leave, after the payment of any bequests you may have bequeathed or of debt. And if there be a man or a woman whose heritage is to be divided and he or she has neither parent nor child, and he or she has a brother or a sister, then each one of them shall have a sixth. But if they be more than that, then they shall be equal sharers in one-third, after the payment of any bequests which may have been bequeathed or of debt, wiyout prejudice to the debt. This is an injunction from Allah, and Allah is All-Knowing, Forbearing.

 وَاَنۡ اَقِمۡ وَجۡہَکَ لِلدِّیۡنِ حَنِیۡفًا وَّلَا تَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ  سورة یُونس10:106  And I have also been commanded to say: Set thy face toward religion as one ever inclined to God, and be not you of those who ascribe partners to Him.

 قُلِ اللّٰہَ اَعۡبُدُ مُخۡلِصًا لَّہٗ دِیۡنِیۡ  سورة الزُّمَر39:15  Say, It is Allah I worship, being sincere to Him in my religion.

 مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ فَرَّقُوۡا دِیۡنَہُمۡ وَکَانُوۡا شِیَعًا ۖ کُلُّ حِزۡبٍۭ بِمَا لَدَیۡہِمۡ فَرِحُوۡنَ  سورة الرُّوم30:33  Of those who split up their religion and have become divided into sects; every party rejoicing in what they have.

 یَوۡمَئِذٍ یُّوَفِّیۡہِمُ اللّٰہُ دِیۡنَہُمُ الۡحَقَّ وَیَعۡلَمُوۡنَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ ہُوَ الۡحَقُّ الۡمُبِیۡنُ  سورة النُّور24:26  On that day will Allah pay them their just due, and they will know that Allah alone is the Manifest Truth.

 وَمَنۡ یَّبۡتَغِ غَیۡرَ الۡاِسۡلٰمِ دِیۡنًا فَلَنۡ یُّقۡبَلَ مِنۡہُ وَہُوَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِیۡنَ  سورة آل عِمرَان3:86  And whoso seeks a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the life to come he shall be among the losers.

 قُلۡ اَتُعَلِّمُوۡنَ اللّٰہَ بِدِیۡنِکُمۡ وَاللّٰہُ یَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ۚ وَاللّٰہُ بِکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیۡمٌ  سورة الحُجرَات49:17  Say, Will you acquaint Allah with your faith, while Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and Allah knows all things full well?

 ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی وَدِیۡنِ الۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ ۚ وَکَفٰی بِاللّٰہِ شَہِیۡدًا  سورة الفَتْح48:29  He it is Who has sent His Messenger, with guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may make it prevail over all other religions. And sufficient is Allah as a Witness.

 وَمَنۡ اَحۡسَنُ دِیۡنًا مِّمَّنۡ اَسۡلَمَ وَجۡہَہٗ لِلّٰہِ وَہُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ وَّاتَّبَعَ مِلَّۃَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ حَنِیۡفًا ۗ وَاتَّخَذَ اللّٰہُ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ خَلِیۡلًا  سورة النِّسَاء4:126  And who is better in faith than he who submits himself to Allah, and he is a doer of good, and follows the religion of Abraham, the upright? And Allah took Abraham for a special friend.

 ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی وَدِیۡنِ الۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ وَلَوۡ کَرِہَ الۡمُشۡرِکُوۡنَ  سورة التّوبَة9:33  He it is Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it prevail over every other religion, even yough the idolaters may dislike it.

 اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ فَرَّقُوۡا دِیۡنَہُمۡ وَکَانُوۡا شِیَعًا لَّسۡتَ مِنۡہُمۡ فِیۡ شَیۡءٍ ۚ اِنَّمَاۤ اَمۡرُہُمۡ اِلَی اللّٰہِ ثُمَّ یُنَبِّئُہُمۡ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَفۡعَلُوۡنَ  سورة الاٴنعَام6:160 As for those who split up their religion and became divided into sects, you hast no concern at all with them. Surely their case will come before Allah, then will He inform them of what they used to do.

 وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ذَرُوۡنِیۡۤ اَقۡتُلۡ مُوۡسٰی وَلۡیَدۡعُ رَبَّہٗۤ ۖ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اَنۡ یُّبَدِّلَ دِیۡنَکُمۡ اَوۡ اَنۡ یُّظۡہِرَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ الۡفَسَادَ  سورة المؤمن40:27  And Pharaoh said: Leave me alone that I may kill Moses; and let him call on his Lord. I fear lest he should change your religion or cause disorder to show itself in the land.

 اِذۡ یَقُوۡلُ الۡمُنٰفِقُوۡنَ وَالَّذِیۡنَ فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ مَّرَضٌ غَرَّ ہٰٓؤُلَآءِ دِیۡنُہُمۡ ۗ وَمَنۡ یَّتَوَکَّلۡ عَلَی اللّٰہِ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَزِیۡزٌ حَکِیۡمٌ  سورة الاٴنفَال8:50  When the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease said, Their religion has deluded these men. And whoso puts his trust in Allah, then surely, Allah is Mighty, Wise.

 ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ قَالُوۡا لَنۡ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّاۤ اَیَّامًا مَّعۡدُوۡدٰتٍ ۖ وَّغَرَّہُمۡ فِیۡ دِیۡنِہِمۡ مَّا کَانُوۡا یَفۡتَرُوۡنَ  سورة آل عِمرَان3:25  That is because they say, The Fire shall not touch us, except for a limited number of days. And what they used to forge has deceived them regarding their religion.

 فَاَقِمۡ وَجۡہَکَ لِلدِّیۡنِ الۡقَیِّمِ مِنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ یَّاۡتِیَ یَوۡمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَہٗ مِنَ اللّٰہِ ۖ یَوۡمَئِذٍ یَّصَّدَّعُوۡنَ  سورة الرُّوم30:44  So set thy face to the service of the right religion before there comes the day from Allah for which there will be no averting. On that day mankind will split up into parts.

 ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی وَدِیۡنِ الۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ وَلَوۡ کَرِہَ الۡمُشۡرِکُوۡنَ  سورة الصَّف61:10  He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

 اَلَّذِیۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا دِیۡنَہُمۡ لَہۡوًا وَّلَعِبًا وَّغَرَّتۡہُمُ الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَا ۚ فَالۡیَوۡمَ نَنۡسٰٮہُمۡ کَمَا نَسُوۡا لِقَآءَ یَوۡمِہِمۡ ہٰذَا وَمَا کَانُوۡا بِاٰیٰتِنَا یَجۡحَدُوۡنَ  سورة الاٴعرَاف7:52 Those who took their religion for a pastime and a sport, and whom the life of the world beguiled. This day, then, shall We forget them as they forgot the meeting of this day of theirs, and as they used to deny Our Signs.

 قُلۡ اِنَّنِیۡ ہَدٰٮنِیۡ رَبِّیۡۤ اِلٰی صِرٰطٍ مُّسۡتَقِیۡمٍ دِیۡنًا قِیَمًا مِّلَّۃَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ حَنِیۡفًا ۚ وَمَا کَانَ مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ  سورة الاٴنعَام6:162 Say, As for me, my Lord has guided me unto a straight path - a right religion, the religion of Abraham, the upright. And he was not of those who join gods with God.

 قُلۡ یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡ شَکٍّ مِّنۡ دِیۡنِیۡ فَلَاۤ اَعۡبُدُ الَّذِیۡنَ تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَلٰکِنۡ اَعۡبُدُ اللّٰہَ الَّذِیۡ یَتَوَفّٰٮکُمۡ ۖ وَاُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ  سورة یُونس10:105  Say, O ye men, if you are in doubt as to my religion, then know that I worship not those whom you worship beside Allah, but I worship Allah alone Who causes you to die, and I have been commanded to be of the believers,

 وَاِنۡ نَّکَثُوۡۤا اَیۡمٰنَہُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ عَہۡدِہِمۡ وَطَعَنُوۡا فِیۡ دِیۡنِکُمۡ فَقٰتِلُوۡۤا اَئِمَّۃَ الۡکُفۡرِ ۙ اِنَّہُمۡ لَاۤ اَیۡمٰنَ لَہُمۡ لَعَلَّہُمۡ یَنۡتَہُوۡنَ  سورة التّوبَة9:12  And if they break their oaths after their covenant, and attack your religion, then fight these leaders of disbelief surely, they have no regard for their oaths - that they may desist.  اِلَّا الَّذِیۡنَ تَابُوۡا وَاَصۡلَحُوۡا وَاعۡتَصَمُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ وَاَخۡلَصُوۡا دِیۡنَہُمۡ لِلّٰہِ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ مَعَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ۖ وَسَوۡفَ یُؤۡتِ اللّٰہُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ اَجۡرًا عَظِیۡمًا  سورة النِّسَاء4:147  Except those who repent and amend and hold fast to Allah and are sincere in their obedience to Allah. These are among the believers. And Allah will soon bestow a great reward upon the believers.

 وَکَذٰلِکَ زَیَّنَ لِکَثِیۡرٍ مِّنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ قَتۡلَ اَوۡلٰدِہِمۡ شُرَکَآؤُہُمۡ لِیُرۡدُوۡہُمۡ وَلِیَلۡبِسُوۡا عَلَیۡہِمۡ دِیۡنَہُمۡ ۖ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ مَا فَعَلُوۡہُ ۖ فَذَرۡہُمۡ وَمَا یَفۡتَرُوۡنَ  سورة الاٴنعَام6:138 And in like manner have their associate-gods made the killing of their children appear beautiful to many of the idolaters that they may ruin them and cause them confusion in their religion. And if Allah had enforced His will, they would not have done this; so leave them alone with that which they invent.

 فَاَقِمۡ وَجۡہَکَ لِلدِّیۡنِ حَنِیۡفًا ۚ فِطۡرَتَ اللّٰہِ الَّتِیۡ فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَیۡہَا ۚ لَا تَبۡدِیۡلَ لِخَلۡقِ اللّٰہِ ۚ ذٰلِکَ الدِّیۡنُ الۡقَیِّمُ وَلٰکِنَّ اَکۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ  سورة الرُّوم30:31  So set thy face to the service of religion as one devoted to God. And follow the nature made by Allah - the nature in which He has created mankind. There is no altering the creation of Allah. That is the right religion. But most men know not.

 قُلۡ یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُوۡا فِیۡ دِیۡنِکُمۡ غَیۡرَ الۡحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوۡۤا اَہۡوَآءَ قَوۡمٍ قَدۡ ضَلُّوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ وَاَضَلُّوۡا کَثِیۡرًا وَّضَلُّوۡا عَنۡ سَوَآءِ السَّبِیۡلِ  سورة المَائدة5:78  Say, O People of the Book! exceed not the limits in the matter of your religion unjustly, nor follow the evil inclinations of a people who went astray before and caused many to go astray, and who have strayed away from the right path.

 یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الَّذِیۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا دِیۡنَکُمۡ ہُزُوًا وَّلَعِبًا مِّنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکُمۡ وَالۡکُفَّارَ اَوۡلِیَآءَ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِیۡنَ  سورة المَائدة5:58  O ye who believe! take not those for friends who make a jest and sport of your religion from among those who were given the Book before you, and the disbelievers. And fear Allah if you are believers;

 وَلَا تُؤۡمِنُوۡۤا اِلَّا لِمَنۡ تَبِعَ دِیۡنَکُمۡ قُلۡ اِنَّ الۡہُدٰی ہُدَی اللّٰہِ اَنۡ یُّؤۡتٰۤی اَحَدٌ مِّثۡلَ مَاۤ اُوۡتِیۡتُمۡ اَوۡ یُحَآجُّوۡکُمۡ عِنۡدَ رَبِّکُمۡ ۗ قُلۡ اِنَّ الۡفَضۡلَ بِیَدِ اللّٰہِ یُؤۡتِیۡہِ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ۗ وَاللّٰہُ وٰسِعٌ عَلِیۡمٌ  سورة آل عِمرَان3:74  And obey none but him who follows your religion; - Say, Surely, the true guidance, the guidance of Allah, is that one may be given the like of that which has been given to you - or they would dispute with you before your Lord. Say, All bounty is in the hand of Allah. He gives it to whomsoever He pleases. And Allah is Bountiful, All-Knowing.

 یُوۡصِیۡکُمُ اللّٰہُ فِیۡۤ اَوۡلٰدِکُمۡ ۖ لِلذَّکَرِ مِثۡلُ حَظِّ الۡاُنۡثَیَیۡنِ ۚ فَاِنۡ کُنَّ نِسَآءً فَوۡقَ اثۡنَتَیۡنِ فَلَہُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَکَ ۖ وَاِنۡ کَانَتۡ وٰحِدَۃً فَلَہَا النِّصۡفُ ۚ وَلِاَبَوَیۡہِ لِکُلِّ وٰحِدٍ مِّنۡہُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَکَ اِنۡ کَانَ لَہٗ وَلَدٌ ۚ فَاِنۡ لَّمۡ یَکُنۡ لَّہٗ وَلَدٌ وَّوَرِثَہٗۤ اَبَوَاہُ فَلِاُمِّہِ الثُّلُثُ ۚ فَاِنۡ کَانَ لَہٗۤ اِخۡوَۃٌ فَلِاُمِّہِ السُّدُسُ ۚ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ وَصِیَّۃٍ یُّوۡصِیۡ بِہَاۤ اَوۡ دَیۡنٍ ۗ اٰبَآؤُکُمۡ وَاَبۡنَآؤُکُمۡ لَا تَدۡرُوۡنَ اَیُّہُمۡ اَقۡرَبُ لَکُمۡ نَفۡعًا ۚ فَرِیۡضَۃً مِّنَ اللّٰہِ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ کَانَ عَلِیۡمًا حَکِیۡمًا  سورة النِّسَاء4:12  Allah commands you concerning your children: a male shall have as much as the share of two females; but if there be females only, numbering more than two, then they shall have two-thirds of what the deceased leaves; and if there be one, she shall have the half. And his parents shall have each of them a sixth of the inheritance, if he have a child; but if he have no child and his parents be his heirs, then his mother shall have a third; and if he have brothers and sisters, then his mother shall have a sixth, after the payment of any bequests he may have bequeathed or of debt. Your fathers and your children, you know not which of them is nearest to you in benefit. This fixing of portions is from Allah. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, Wise.

 یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُوۡا فِیۡ دِیۡنِکُمۡ وَلَا تَقُوۡلُوۡا عَلَی اللّٰہِ اِلَّا الۡحَقَّ ۚ اِنَّمَا الۡمَسِیۡحُ عِیۡسَی ابۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہِ وَکَلِمَتُہٗۤ اَلۡقٰٮہَاۤ اِلٰی مَرۡیَمَ وَرُوۡحٌ مِّنۡہُ ۖ فَاٰمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ وَرُسُلِہٖ ۖ وَلَا تَقُوۡلُوۡا ثَلٰثَۃٌ ۚ اِنۡتَہُوۡا خَیۡرًا لَّکُمۡ ۚ اِنَّمَا اللّٰہُ اِلٰہٌ وّٰحِدٌ ۖ سُبۡحٰنَہٗۤ اَنۡ یَّکُوۡنَ لَہٗ وَلَدٌ ۘ لَّہٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ۗ وَکَفٰی بِاللّٰہِ وَکِیۡلًا  سورة النِّسَاء4:172  O People of the Book, exceed not the limits in your religion, and say not of Allah anything but the truth. Verily, the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah and a fulfilment of His word which He sent down to Mary, and a mercy from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers, and say not They are three. Desist, it will be better for you. Verily, Allah is the only One God. Far is it from His Holiness that He should have a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And sufficient is Allah as a Guardian.

 وَعَدَ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مِنۡکُمۡ وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَیَسۡتَخۡلِفَنَّہُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ کَمَا اسۡتَخۡلَفَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ وَلَیُمَکِّنَنَّ لَہُمۡ دِیۡنَہُمُ الَّذِی ارۡتَضٰی لَہُمۡ وَلَیُبَدِّلَنَّہُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ خَوۡفِہِمۡ اَمۡنًا ۚ یَعۡبُدُوۡنَنِیۡ لَا یُشۡرِکُوۡنَ بِیۡ شَیۡـًٔا ۚ وَمَنۡ کَفَرَ بَعۡدَ ذٰلِکَ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ  سورة النُّور24:56  Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear: They will worship Me, and they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious.

 یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مَنۡ یَّرۡتَدَّ مِنۡکُمۡ عَنۡ دِیۡنِہٖ فَسَوۡفَ یَاۡتِی اللّٰہُ بِقَوۡمٍ یُّحِبُّہُمۡ وَیُحِبُّوۡنَہٗۤ اَذِلَّۃٍ عَلَی الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ اَعِزَّۃٍ عَلَی الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ یُجٰہِدُوۡنَ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَلَا یَخَافُوۡنَ لَوۡمَۃَ لَآئِمٍ ۚ ذٰلِکَ فَضۡلُ اللّٰہِ یُؤۡتِیۡہِ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ۚ وَاللّٰہُ وٰسِعٌ عَلِیۡمٌ  سورة المَائدة5:55  O ye who believe! whoso among you turns back from his religion, then let it be known that in his stead Allah will soon bring a people whom He will love and who will love Him, and who will be kind and humble towards believers, hard and firm against disbelievers. They will strive in the cause of Allah and will not fear the reproach of a faultfinder. That is Allahs grace; He bestows it upon whomsoever He pleases; and Allah is Bountiful, All-Knowing.

 وَذَرِ الَّذِیۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا دِیۡنَہُمۡ لَعِبًا وَّلَہۡوًا وَّغَرَّتۡہُمُ الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَا ۚ وَذَکِّرۡ بِہٖۤ اَنۡ تُبۡسَلَ نَفۡسٌۢ بِمَا کَسَبَتۡ لَیۡسَ لَہَا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَلِیٌّ وَّلَا شَفِیۡعٌ وَّاِنۡ تَعۡدِلۡ کُلَّ عَدۡلٍ لَّا یُؤۡخَذۡ مِنۡہَاۤ ۗ اُولٰٓئِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُبۡسِلُوۡا بِمَا کَسَبُوۡا ۖ لَہُمۡ شَرَابٌ مِّنۡ حَمِیۡمٍ وَّعَذَابٌ اَلِیۡمٌۢ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَکۡفُرُوۡنَ  سورة الاٴنعَام6:71 And let alone those who take their religion for a sport and a pastime, and whom worldly life has beguiled. And admonish people thereby lest a soul be consigned to perdition for what it has wrought. It shall have no helper nor intercessor beside Allah; and even if it offer every ransom, it shall not be accepted from it. These are they who have been delivered over to destruction for their own acts. They will have a drink of boiling water and a grievous punishment, because they disbelieved.

 حُرِّمَتۡ عَلَیۡکُمُ الۡمَیۡتَۃُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحۡمُ الۡخِنۡزِیۡرِ وَمَاۤ اُہِلَّ لِغَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ بِہٖ وَالۡمُنۡخَنِقَۃُ وَالۡمَوۡقُوۡذَۃُ وَالۡمُتَرَدِّیَۃُ وَالنَّطِیۡحَۃُ وَمَاۤ اَکَلَ السَّبُعُ اِلَّا مَا ذَکَّیۡتُمۡ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَی النُّصُبِ وَاَنۡ تَسۡتَقۡسِمُوۡا بِالۡاَزۡلٰمِ ۚ ذٰلِکُمۡ فِسۡقٌ ۗ اَلۡیَوۡمَ یَئِسَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ دِیۡنِکُمۡ فَلَا تَخۡشَوۡہُمۡ وَاخۡشَوۡنِ ۚ الۡیَوۡمَ اَکۡمَلۡتُ لَکُمۡ دِیۡنَکُمۡ وَاَتۡمَمۡتُ عَلَیۡکُمۡ نِعۡمَتِیۡ وَرَضِیۡتُ لَکُمُ الۡاِسۡلٰمَ دِیۡنًا ۚ فَمَنِ اضۡطُرَّ فِیۡ مَخۡمَصَۃٍ غَیۡرَ مُتَجَانِفٍ لِّاِثۡمٍ ۙ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ  سورة المَائدة5:4  Forbidden to you is the flesh of an animal which dies of itself, and blood and the flesh of swine; and that on which is invoked the name of one other than Allah; and that which has been strangled; and that beaten to death; and that killed by a fall; and that which has been gored to death; and that of which a wild animal has eaten, except that which you have properly slaughtered; and that which has been slaughtered at an altar. And forbidden is also that you seek to know your lot by the divining arrows. That is an act of disobedience. This day have those who disbelieve despaired of harming your religion. So fear them not, but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion. But whoso is forced by hunger, wiyout being wilfully inclined to sin, then, surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.

 یَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَکَ عَنِ الشَّہۡرِ الۡحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِیۡہِ ۖ قُلۡ قِتَالٌ فِیۡہِ کَبِیۡرٌ ۖ وَّصَدٌّ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَکُفۡرٌۢ بِہٖ وَالۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَرَامِ وَاِخۡرَاجُ اَہۡلِہٖ مِنۡہُ اَکۡبَرُ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَالۡفِتۡنَۃُ اَکۡبَرُ مِنَ الۡقَتۡلِ ۗ وَلَا یَزَالُوۡنَ یُقٰتِلُوۡنَکُمۡ حَتّٰی یَرُدُّوۡکُمۡ عَنۡ دِیۡنِکُمۡ اِنِ اسۡتَطٰعُوۡا ۚ وَمَنۡ یَّرۡتَدِدۡ مِنۡکُمۡ عَنۡ دِیۡنِہٖ فَیَمُتۡ وَہُوَ کَافِرٌ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ حَبِطَتۡ اَعۡمٰلُہُمۡ فِی الدُّنۡیَا وَالۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۖ وَاُولٰٓئِکَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ ۖ ہُمۡ فِیۡہَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ  سورة البَقَرَة2:218  They ask you about fighting in the Sacred Month. Say: Fighting therein is a great transgression, but to hinder men from the way of Allah, and to be ungrateful to Him and to hinder men from the Sacred Mosque, and to turn out its people therefrom, is a greater sin with Allah; and persecution is worse than killing. And they will not cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith, if they can. And whoso from among you turns back from his faith and dies while he is a disbeliever, it is they whose works shall be vain in this world and the next. These are the inmates of the Fire and therein shall they abide.
